* Kaede walks towards the school after Katie! Mind you he's taking a slight 
glance backwards as he does so. He doesn't look too happy about it.
* Katie keeps jogging at a light pace. She's pretty quick.
<Brett> [Kaede and Katie go inside da school.  At the door, they're jostled by 
Eriko as she hurries out in a... well, in a hurry.  Chikako is inside talking to 
Ryuji.]
* Katie yelps and barely gets out of the way, then keeps going to Chikako and 
Ryuji.
* Kaede gets bumped and turns around to watch her for a moment before adjusting 
his glasses and walking forward some more. "Must be going after Saki."
<Brett> [Chikako was partially looking your way, so she comes to greet you, too. 
"Katie! Are you okay? I was scared! It was soooo uncool!"]
<Katie> Yeah.  Oof.
* Kaede rubs the back of his head. "Yeah. No harm done. I think."
* Katie smiles a little at Chikako and gives her a quick hug. "Yeah, everyone's 
okay."
<Katie> What happened?
<Kaede> The guy is crazy, what else?
<Brett> Ryuji speaks up: "There was an unfamiliar boy our age on the roof. He 
commented on Saki's looks, then suddenly attacked her.  And before Eriko or I 
could do anything, they had thrown each other off the rooftop."
<Kaede> He's been looking for her since the other day.  Apparently he just goes 
around looking for fights.  He's with the Jackals too...
<Brett> Chikako: "I was sooooo scared when I saw you out there with her. You're 
sure everything's cool with you?"
<Brett> Ryuji: "... Peculiar."
* Katie nods. "They're both alive." She bites her lip.
* Kaede sighs and folds his arms. "We encountered him earlier. He said that she 
was hot, called Akemi a traitor, and then basically attacked. Said he didn't 
like me for being arrogant." He snorts off to the side. "As if."
* Katie giggles a little, despite herself.
<Katie> Anyway, Saki's outside with everybody else.
* Kaede glances at Katie. "What?"
<Katie> Nothing.
<Kaede> It's obviously something.  What?
* Katie grins. "Nothing."
* Kaede tsshes. "You know better than to pull that with me, Katie Andrews."
* Katie sticks her tongue out at him.
* Kaede blinks at that, then narrows his eyes, a little miffed. "Hey!"
<Brett> Chikako looks over Katie's shoulder, outside. "Ooooh.... Kyon is outside 
with her too.  That's not cool."
* Katie blinks. "Is there something wrong with them talking?"
* Kaede glances at Chikako oddly. "She's just a friend as far as I know. I'd 
doubt Kyon would be the type to go for anyone anyways."
<Katie> I'd beat him up if he did.
<Brett> "But she's Saki Morikawa! What if she beats him up? That wouldn't be 
cool."
* Katie smiles a little. "She won't do that. They're just talking, see?"
<Brett> "Well, right now everything's cool... But who knows with her?"
<Katie> You want to go make sure?
<Kaede> Who knows with anyone really?  It's all a matter of time.  David Hume 
said so.
* Kaede snerks at his own statement.
<Kaede> Not that all people are naturally good like some people think.
<Brett> "Ummm... But what if she tries something?"
<Katie> I think she's leaving, anyway.  Come on.
* Katie takes Chikako's hand and starts leading her out of the school.
<Brett> "Uh... Um... Ok, cool."
* Katie smiles, hopefully with reassurance. "It'll be okay."
* Kaede shrugs and follows Katie again.
