* Katie picks up the phone! "<Hello?>"
<Katie> "Taki?  Um, no.  Is everything okay?"
<Katie> "Um... okay."  Pause, some talking in English, but it's garbled, then 
she's back on the phone.  "Look, I have to finish eating.  If you really need 
something, call.  I'll call back, all right?"
<Katie> "Right."
<Katie> "For what?"
* Katie can almost be heard blinking. "... Okay. I'll call you back, Taki."
<Katie> "Sure.  Bye!"
* Katie hangs up.

<Katie> "Hi, Taki?  This is Katie."
<Katie> "I'm sorry, but I can't.  They want to watch a movie with me, and... I 
don't spend enough time with them in general."
<Katie> "Yeah, you'd almost think it's like their job or something."
<Katie> "I hope Haruko has good handwriting."
* Katie snickers a little. "Okay." There's some beeping. "Popcorn's done. See 
you tomorrow."
<Katie> "I will.  Bye."
* Katie hangs up!
