<Brett> [And so Chikako and Kyon go off on their own!]
<Chikako> We shouldn't have split up.  It's not as cool ;_;
* Kyon walks along down the line next to her, and looks down. 
  He shrugs. "Time later to spend with them. It's a long day."
* Chikako nods as they approach the carts. "That's true. I 
  forgot how early it is! Cool!"
* Kyon smirks down. "Yeah. Really <cool>. You know much 
  English, Chikako?"
<Chikako> Huh? I know a bit.  Cool, huh?
* Kyon nods tersely. "Yeah. Want me to teach you some more?"
<Chikako> That'd be cool.  But I could just learn from Katie. 
   She's American, you know? It's so cool!
<Brett> [By this point, the two of you are ready to get 
  into the carts.]
* Kyon nods somewhat more slowly. "Yeah. Could ask her to do 
  it, too." He gestures for Chikako to pick one of the two 
  seats.
* Chikako picks the front, taking off her glasses so as not 
  to lose them during the ride. "This'll be so cool!"
* Kyon nods again, smiles thinly at her back now that she 
  can't see, and gets in the seat behind her. "Yeah. Never 
  been here before."
* Chikako grins. "Me neither, but I can already tell." The 
  ride begins to do what's happening in the main channel :P
* Kyon nods, and braces as the ride starts. He rests a hand 
  softly and quickly on her shoulder, then lets go and looks 
  down the tunnel.
* Kyon enjoys the ride stoically. He's grinning, but doesn't 
cry out or scream or whoop.
