"Yeah. So? We're different from the old members." * Kyon cocks his head. "Last I checked, you still had some of the old members." Well, not the ones who were in on the project. 'Sides, I wasn't here when they did it. I'm only a Freshman. You can't blame me for anything! * Kyon nods, and waves a hand. "I'm not blaming you. I'm just telling you. You're vice president. I want you to give the council your word nothing like that will happen again." * Hirokazu frowns. "You came here to tell me THAT?" * Kyon shakes his head. "No, I came here to tell you that we're thinking of buying new computers for the lab." * Hirokazu blinks at that, and suddenly his mood brightens. "Oh. Well, that's different!" Yeah, we're through with those stupid ideas. It won't happen again, sir. * Hirokazu bows. * Kyon reaches into his pocket and pulls out a deck of slightly faded cards as he talks. "We're still debating it on the council, but that point has been brought up. I needed to address it." You can count on me. * Hirokazu thumps his chest and beams. "As the Vice President of the computer club, I'll do everything in my power." * Kyon nods, and shuffles lightly with one hand, out in front of his stomach. "None of us on the council really know what would work best, however." * Kyon shuffles again. "What projects are the club currently considering?" * Hirokazu grins. "We're coding a 3D map of the school, from scratch. Ever play Quake? It'll be just like that, right down to the details." * Kyon nods as if he comprehends. "So you would want ones with more graphical ability." He holds up the cards. "Mind picking one?" Huh? * Kyon shrugs. "Just doing something with my hands." He straightens, and looks down at Hirokazu. "You realize that if you get better graphical ones, you'll get fewer?" ... How many fewer? * Kyon shrugs, and holds up the cards somewhat more prominently. "Depends on how good they get." Hmm... I'll need time to discuss it with the others, especially the Prez. * Kyon nods tersely. "I understand. It's a big decision. Perhaps you should come to the next Student Council meeting to discuss it." * Hirokazu nods. * Kyon absentmindedly picks out a card, looks at it, is utterly unsurprised, and sticks it back in. He shuffles again, and fans it again. * Kyon nods again. "You know when we meet?" Uh.... Now that you mention it, no. I'm sure the Prez does, though. * Kyon nods, and holds the cards a bit towards Hirokazu again. "We'll be meeting on Friday, but I won't be there. I'd suggest coming to the one next Tuesday." * Hirokazu nods. "Okay." Well, I'd better get back to work. * Kyon cocks his head. "Not going to take one?" He proffers the cards, and watches Hirokazu's face closely. Nah. It's all just tricks anyhow. * Kyon shrugs. "You'd be surprised." I doubt it. See ya Tuesday. * Hirokazu goes back to work. * Kyon nods, and tucks the cards away.
