* Chikako is in the paper office, working away. * Kyon heads over to the newspaper office, and goes inside, looking around. [Nobody is here at the present moment except Chikako.] * Kyon smirks, and waves tersely to Chikako. "Hey." * Chikako looks up and smiles. "Hi Kyon! What'd you think of the article today? Wasn't it cool?" * Kyon nods quickly. "Yeah. Informative. Get your sources quickly." * Chikako beams. "I have a super-cool information network!" * Kyon moves towards her desk. "Yeah. Better than the pro journalists." You think? Wow! That's so cool! * Kyon nods quickly again, and sits on the side of the desk. He jams a hand in his pocket, and looks at her with a somewhat awkward look on his face. "You OK?" Um? Oh, it's cool. * Chikako frowns a bit. "I just thought everyone would think it was cool when I delivered the news. Instead they acted like I did something bad." * Kyon looks at her sidewise. "No one thought that." They why weren't they happy? I thought it was cool. Why didn't they? * Kyon smirks. "Overly developed moral sense. Probably just thought dead was dead, no matter who did it. And that's enough to throw them." Oh. I guess it's cool... Bt I thought they'd be happy to learn Satoshi didn't do it. * Kyon shrugs quickly. "Probably were. Just have to realize, they have sympathy for suicides to balance." I know it's not cool that people died, but... * Kyon looks off again. "Not cool if they were the wrong people. These people were right." He looks back at her, without the smirk. "Better that none of us have to take the blame." * Chikako nods. * Kyon rolls his shoulders. "OK?" * Chikako nods. "It's cool." Right. So. Did the mechanic girl come asking for information from you? Haruko? Nope! Not today. * Kyon shakes his head quickly. "Not today. Maybe a couple days ago, around then." * Chikako buts a finger to her chin. "I don't think so..." * Kyon cocks his head. "Didn't ask for a name or a place, didn't ask about the biker girl, nothing?" No. But she did ask me about something cool about a week ago... but it's a secret. * Kyon nods quickly. "You can't even tell me what it's generally about?" Wellll... * Chikako grins. "I guess I can say it was about a really cool boy." * Kyon smirks. "Let me guess. It was one of the two swordplay club captains." * Chikako giggles. "Mmmmmaybe." * Kyon takes a hand out of his pocket and waves it dismissively. "Won't push for your secret. But you're getting a cel phone today." * Chikako blinks. "I am?" * Kyon nods quickly. "Still can't believe you don't have one already. A journalist without a cel phone." He shakes his head quickly. It'd be pretty cool if I did. * Kyon smirks. "So get one. They're cheap. Go with you, when you're done here." He looks a bit awkward again. * Chikako smiles. "That'd be so cool!" Then she looks at her desk. "Oh, but I've still got a lot to do..." * Kyon shrugs quickly. "Can wait. You have my number. Call when you're ready." * Chikako grins. "Okay! That'd be cool. Thanks!" * Kyon nods tersely, picks up his bag, and heads out.
