* Satoshi speaks quietly. "So what's wrong?" * Haruko looks at Satoshi and Taki. "Uh, did you guys mention that thing I told you to hold off on for a day to anyone?" * Taki sweatdrops, "Kyon asked...but neither of us could remember the name of the guy you asked Saki about." * Satoshi shakes his head. "Nope. Kyon asked us about it, but... uh, actually... I kinda forgot exactly what you told us. Sorry." * Haruko facepalms. "I've been protected by my own impatience. Lovely." Can you tell us what happened? * Satoshi blinks. "Uh... we weren't supposed to tell anyone, were we?" She said wait a day, and more than a day passed so... * Haruko nods to Taki. "I need some advice. Don't worry Satoshi, you didn't do anything wrong." Oh. I must've forgotten that part. I'm sorry. I'll try to help, but there's no telling if I'll give you anything usefull. * Haruko chuckles. "Look... I'm now thinking my original idea isn't necessarily fair to someone." Alright where to start. You remember that reading that said I might find what happened to Reiji? And how I thought I had a possible lead. * Satoshi nods. "Yeah... it didn't pan out?" * Taki nods slowly, "Sort of." Right. The lead was that a person, a possible enemy from the past, Kyon's past actually, he knows so there's no point hiding that. Ohhh... *that* guy. * Haruko rubs her forehead. "I don't know what parts to tell, i might be breaking a promise here too." Just tell us what you're comfortable with, then. I don't want to make you break any promises. * Taki nods, "Breaking promises is something that I try to avoid..." * Taki looks down at her feet. * Haruko nods. "And my source that this guy is around doesn't want people to know about this guy. Although I got permission to get the information even if Kyon was likely to find out." * Satoshi looks at Taki curiously for a minute, then turns back to Haruko. "So you... what now?" * Haruko looks up, she looks unhappy with herself. "So I tried to arrange for Kyon to find out, through you two." Oh...Whoops. Ah. And we didn't exactly help matters there. * Haruko plays with her hair. "Maybe you did. I don't know if that was right, it probably wasn't." Ehhh... I tend not to be too good with all this subtle planning. But what if this enemy is the lead... What if he is somehow related... What if he's really judgment. Saki told me he was around. And my source found out that he'd talked to Saki from a rumor. Which is weird in and of itself. * Satoshi frowns. "This is the person from Kyon's past?" * Haruko shifts from foot to foot. "I don't know what to do." * Taki blinks, "If he is Judgement...and hates Kyon...why is Kyon...Where is he anyway?" * Satoshi shrugs. "He probably had some sort of student council business to take care of." * Haruko nods. "I don't know. Tokyo, Saki saw him a while back. Didn't find him noteworthy though." * Haruko looks more than a little out of it. "Oh.. Right, where's Kyon." Are you even sure he's Arcana? Sorry, I'm not the most straightforward of speakers. * Haruko shakes her head. "I'm totally going based off the fortune reading from these damnable gaijin cards. I have no idea." They seem pretty open to interpretation. * Taki nods. But they seem to be right fairly often. And i also have no other idea how to find Reiji. I wonder if Jin would know anything about him. * Satoshi shrugs. "We could try asking. Just bring chicken." Which reminds me, I need to go grocery shopping on my way home... And, if it means we can find judgment and stop the disappearances, and protect Katie from the band. I'd be willing to break the promise. If I could protect my source. I'll cook it for you to make up for forgetting. * Haruko frowns. "I dunno. I've almost never gotten anything useful from Jin." * Haruko giggles slightly at Taki and Satoshi's conversation, she's really not quite with it. I guess it depends on how you ask. Kyon seems to be able to get things out of him. I just... well, I'm used to having him around now, so maybe if I tried again, I could get something. * Haruko nods. "And maybe I could go to that fortune teller, she might at least make the reading more clear..." She's worth a try, and if you can find Judgment without breaking the promise, I say go for it. The girl who goes to Kaede's sister's school? * Haruko thinks. "Yeah... I'll try further research. I guess i'll check with Kyon first too though, I'm his ally, I owe that to him." Yeah. We need to find Judgement... well, not *need* to, but... we have to find a way to convince the Band it's not Katie, and to protect ourselves. * Taki nods at Satoshi. Alright, if I search, will the two of you help me. You've alread heard the information once, if you're willing to keep a secret there's no more harm in hearing it again. Sure. If Kyon asks, I can always conveniently forget things again. Allright, but I might forget it again, and this is the sort of thing you don't want to repeat too many times. * Taki blinks at Satoshi. Well, okay, last time I really, honestly *did* forget. * Haruko looks at Satoshi and whispers to the two. "Alright, my source is Riko... I won't say her relation to the guy, and no matter what I won't let Kyon hurt her." * Taki blinks twice, "What about keeping her from hurting Kyon?" * Haruko giggles. "I can fix Kyon." * Satoshi nods. "Don't worry. Won't say a thing. It's not like she's any big fan of mine, I'd imagine. Every time I've run into her, I've been with Kyon." Right, so the guy's name is Souichirou. * Taki laughs a bit at Haruko, "Then I'll see what I can do for both of you." * Satoshi repeats it quietly to himself. * Haruko smiles, and then grins michevously. "Oh, and there's one other very important question I have for both of you." What's that? Okay..Soich...What is it? * Haruko straightens her posture and adopts a serious pose. "Assuming today's event did not preclude such... I intend on asking Ryuji out again." Okay. Sounds cool. And? * Haruko grins a bit more. "I'm out of practice pursuing guys, and it might be better if he worked more with the group. So..." * Taki nods slowly "...I think I see where you're going with this but..." Wanna double date? Not for anything important like Taki's birthday. Just going to the movies or something? * Haruko then looks at Taki. "Oh, is there a problem? If you don't think it would be fun.." * Satoshi blushes. "Oh... uh..." He looks over at Taki. "Well, it sounds good to me. How about you? Or would you rather we just..." * Satoshi fidgets slightly. I...I... ::turns red and then white and then red again:: Lets get this next week out of the way and then sort this out nee? And you could take him around the festivle with a group. * Haruko blushes a bit on her own. "Uh.. Well, the mechanics would get jealous, but.. Yeah. Maybe next week." * Satoshi blinks, and looks somewhat disappointed. "Uh... sure. I mean, it has been a busy week and all, so..." * Haruko looks confused but bites her lip then speaks, still blushing. "So, well, that's all, I'll, be over there. Thanks guys." * Taki takes a deep breath, "Thankyou." Oh, sure. No problem. So is there anything else or shall we go back to the others now? * Satoshi watches Haruko go. "Um, Taki?" * Taki doesn't manage to look into Satoshi's eyes. "Yes?" * Satoshi runs a hand through his hair nervously. "It sounds like this week is going to be busy for you, but... I... uh... I'd like to take you out to dinner for your birthday. And... um... maybe a movie afterwards, if there's anything you'd like to see. 'Cause with all the hecticness, what with getting ready for the game, and all the Arcana business... well, um... what I'm getting at is... I'd like to go somewhere where it's just the two of us." I...I...I...I'd love to go, but...I may not be acting like it, but the insanity of it all is getting to me too...So I think the best thing to do is to wait for things to slow down a bit, tomorrow is the Festival... And then it's my birthday, and who knows what's going to happen after that, but I'd like to wait for the schedualed insanity to die off first...if that's allright with you I mean. * Satoshi nods, though he seems a bit disappointed again. "Oh, sure... well, I thought we could... ah, well, it's okay. Yeah, it's probably a good idea to wait for things to slow down just a bit." Sorry about this, there's just so much going on right now... It's okay. I understand. I guess we can go back and rejoin everybody else now? * Taki nods, "I'm sorry." * Taki runs back to the group. * Satoshi sighs. "Yeah... thought so." * Satoshi slowly walks back to the group.
