[Haruko had gotten off the train station with Ryuji and Eriko, and was on her way to visit their house, when Ryuji got a call from Kaede. He has just finished relating the news to Haruko. What's she gonna do?] [Start!] * Haruko frowns slightly. "Guess I should go join them. I would like to hear more about your mother at another time Eriko." Ryuji nods. "I understand." Eriko shrugs, "There's not really a lot to tell there." * Haruko nods. "Alright, well, pass on the note to Saki for me. I may have that invention in a few days or a week or two." Ryuji nods again. * Haruko waves. "See you two later." She then grins a bit at Ryuji. "Although, sooner might be nice too." Ryuji bows. "Farewell." Eriko tries not to react much. * Haruko gives a polite bow in response. * Haruko wanders off to whatever platform she needs to wait at to catch a train to jail. She then pulls out her Shinto and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance to pass the time. [Only after a few minutes after she left, Haruko hears someone come up behind her. "Hey."] * Haruko closes the book in one hand using her finger as a bookmark and turns around. [Eriko's standing behind Haruko.] * Haruko tilts her head a bit. "Hello again Eriko." * Haruko 's tone is friendly, if displaying some confusion. Eriko is almost unreadable. "Yeah. Listen, about before... Don't take it the wrong way, but Ryuji isn't the type to turn people down. It doesn't mean he's actually attracted to you." * Haruko tilts her head and looks a bit sad. "Oh... I was afraid that might be the case, I was going to try another date or two to see if he'd show any interest..." * Haruko sighs and watches Eriko carefully. So... thanks... you don't think I should even ask for a second one then? Eriko shrugs. "Maybe. Could be he does like you after all. But don't be surprised if it turns out that he doesn't." * Haruko lightens up a bit, she still seems slightly sad, but a good bit less so. "Alright, I can accept that. Thank you Eriko, I appreciate it." Her tone is actually quite warm as she finishes. * Haruko grins slightly. "If you really want to people to think you aren't a good person, I'm afraid you're going to have to work harder at it." Eriko shrugs. "Bah. What do I care?" * Haruko shrugs. "I don't know, more power to you if you don't." Eriko pauses for a minute. "Yeah, well... Good luck, I guess." * Haruko nods and smiles slightly. "Thanks." Want me to tell you how the thing with Hirokazu goes? Eriko: "The what?" I'm gonna tell him about Arcana when I get the chance, and maybe give him a few pointers on how not to drive away girls he's attracted to. "Oh, that. Sure, go ahead." * Haruko nods. Eriko starts to leave, then stops and turns her head. "You don't still think I like that guy, do you?" * Haruko shrugs. "Probably not, but I think you care about him. I don't know why, but it makes me think that it's worth talking to him." * Eriko rubs her head. "Maybe, but not in the way you think." * Haruko smiles. "I may get what you mean by that... we'll see." Eriko shrugs. "Well, see ya." She heads off. [And the train conveniently comes!] * Haruko bows at her back and gets on, she goes back to her book as she rides. [And some time later, Haruko gets to the jail. She encounters the same scene as Katie and Kaede: a crowd, several vans, and two guards at the gate.] * Haruko puts her book away and scratches her head. "Guess they already went in." She approaches the two guards. [One of the guards confronts Haruko. "What, another one?"] * Haruko nods. "Yeah... I think my friends may have already gone in." She gives a quick description of Katie and Kaede. The guard sighs. "Yeah, they went in." He opens the gate, looking bothered, "Go on. Hurry up before I change my mind." * Haruko bows quickly and says "Thank you." And then hustles in.
