* Haruko opens the door to Satoshi's apartment and swings it shut behind her. 
She immediately scans for where Kaede went.
* Kaede 's heading down the stairs quickly, out into the rain.
<Brett> [Kaede gets wet.... er.]
* Haruko runs after him and in a loud voice calls out. "Kaede stop!"
* Kaede doesn't. He just keeps walking. At a steady pace though, not speeding 
or slowing.
* Haruko catches up and walks right along side him, matching his pace exactly, 
she speaks quietly but forcefully. "If you hadn't intervened he could have 
done whatever he pleased with her, even if the initial date had been 
voluntary."
<Kaede> What does it matter?
* Kaede walks faster.
* Haruko 's eyes flash and she keeps up. "Bullshit. You know the answer to 
that question. The only thing you could have done was get her away from him 
and explain the situation, by whatever means necessary."
<Kaede> So?  Why should I care?  Caring's a pointless waste of time anyways. 
I should have never fallen for it again...
<Kaede> She wants to stay with him, that's her business.  It's none of mine.
* Kaede speeds up again.
<Brett> [It gets really really rainy.]
* Kaede drips as he walks. See if he cares.
* Haruko moves as fast as she can. "Maybe I don't know what makes you tick, 
that you keep secrets well, or how I can help you. But I know you'd care if 
Remi got raped or you wouldn't be important to me."
* Kaede stops at that.
<Kaede> ...don't even joke about that...
* Haruko keeps her voice quiet but intense. "You think I'm joking! Or do you 
think Tenjirou wouldn't be willing to do it."
<Kaede> I know he would.
<Kaede> But if Remi doesn't care about that, why the hell should I?
* Haruko just glares. "She didn't know. That's why you had to do what you did. 
If she goes back to him now voluntarily she's a total fool, but I don't think 
she's going to do that."
<Kaede> Bah..you heard her.  She doesn't care.
<Brett> [Behind you both, someone says, "That isn't true."]
* Haruko snorts angrily at Kaede's comment and then turns around.
<Brett> [It's Akemi! ... Just kidding. It's Remi!  She's apparently going the 
same way, and getting drenched too.]
* Haruko keeps her mouth shut for a minute.
* Kaede doesn't turn around. He's getting soaked. He doesn't say anything.
<Brett> Remi walks forwards until she gets near you.
<Brett> Remi: "I don't understand this at all.  I need time to think, but..."
<Kaede> ...but...?
* Haruko takes a half step back and keeps silent.
<Brett> "But thanks for trying to help."
* Kaede turns around slowly to look at Remi. His hair's flopping in front of 
his face pretty good now and his glasses look like they need windshield 
wipers.
<Kaede> Uh...you're welcome....
* Haruko quietly comments. "I should go. Come back to the apartment when 
you're done Kaede so I can heal you." She then turns on her heels and leaves 
the two to talk.
* Haruko has left #run
* Kaede blinks and just nods a bit at Haruko's statement, his eyes stuck 
looking at Remi, trying to figure her out.
<Brett> ( Remi isn't sticky )
<Kaede> (Good ;P)
<Brett> Remi: "Well, anyway..."
<Kaede> ...I must be insane...
<Brett> [It stops raining quite so much.  Which isn't to say it stops 
raining.]
<Kaede> Can...I walk you home, Remi?
<Brett> She nods. "Sure."
