* Haruko types out quick directions to Taki.
* Taki follows them and hopefully finds Haruko at the end.
* Haruko is presumably found, unless GM says otherwise.
<Brett> [Haruko is found!]
* Haruko waves enthusiasticly and looking a bit relieved.
* Taki waves back to Haruko, and then when she gets closer starts to talk, "Have 
I mentioned in the past few hours how much of an idiot I am?"
* Haruko points down the hall a bit. "Going this way next. And I'm sure you're 
exagerating, not really a proper way to act in these cases."
* Haruko gets walking down that way, and keeps searching for storage areas or 
Private doors or something.
* Taki follows Haruko down the hall, "Just out of curiosity, do you know when 
the next train leaves here?"
* Haruko looks that up on her phone.
<Haruko> (It's got web browsing too.  Two minor items baby. :P)
<Taki> ...Actualy there's no telling if they'd want it to go back to Tokyo or 
not, so never mind.
* Haruko shrugs. "May as well know. So Megan, did she have superhearing, or just 
figure it out?"
<Taki> (Taki's is just a phone with a few games in it...mundane item ;_;)
<Taki> Not sure, I think she knew as soon as she started talking...or she might 
just be a another knowitall...or I'm just a bad actor.
<Katie> (I pick option number three.)
* Haruko sighs at the continued absence of obvious secret doorways and makes a 
right and continues to search. She keeps checking the next bullet train time as 
she goes.
<Taki> (Acting lessions! *Taki joins the drama club if she lives to the next 
semseter)
<Taki> They had to know we were coming, and we didn't know we were coming untill 
last night...so it'd make sense if the other Katie told them...in which case I 
think they're stalling for time.
* Haruko smiles a bit. "I don't know, you picked up quick. Sides, going to the 
bathroom is a lame excuse, oldest in the book. But we should try to figure out 
if she does have the hearing. In case our !Katie is a shapeshifter."
* Haruko nods and brings up the map. "Here's what I've covered so far. We might 
be able to save time by splitting up, but since we may be going into an ambush, 
I think that's a bad idea."
* Taki looks at the map, "It's kinda hard to make an ambush work against either 
of us, but you won't be able to use your phone to call for help if you need it."
* Haruko nods. "And even if I'm liquidy, just takes one guy with a 
flamethrower..." She then facepalms and continues in a weaker voice. "Why do I 
do that to myself."
<Haruko> ?
<Taki> ...If we're up against somebody with a flamethrower...there isn't much of 
anything anybody can do about it, so don't worry.
* Taki looks at the map for places that look like the might be offlimits to 
normal people.
* Haruko nods and then looks over at Taki with a fairly grim smile. "Guess 
you're right, I get sort of self-centered when I'm afraid."
* Haruko lets Taki hold the cell map for a bit, and keeps up the systematic 
searching.
* Taki looks some more, "Besides I don't think anybody wants to use fire 
here...they've probibly got all sorts of fancy fire extingushers to protect the 
paintings."
<Haruko> Ooh!  You're right, I should ste-, borrow, err.. look at one if I get 
the chance.
* Taki gives Haruko a look, and then looks up at ceiling, "first things first."
* Haruko looks up too. "Wonder if they have sprinklers."
* Haruko 's look up is less of the eye rolling sort. :P
* Taki shrugs and looks back at the phone, "There's gotta be something...I'm 
halfway tempted to go back to the station, but with any luck it's allready too 
late."
* Haruko notes their presence or absence and keeps going. "Glad I finally got to 
tell about Riko, I'll regret it soon enough but a promise... oh... you think 
!Katie is catching the train back right now."
<Taki> I'd have taken the first train in, and the first train out, but that's 
just me.
* Haruko nods and gets back to trying to check the schedule. "She may have sent 
Souichirou to get it instead, since he's probably a wand. Unless he did a 
reading or had another way to know to come here."
* Taki nods back, "So where's left to look?"
* Haruko points to a part of the map. "Not too much I think."
<Haruko> (Brett said something like 20 minutes, so we're probably near done.  
Eh?)
<Taki> (Brett...accurate about time? :P)
<Brett> ( More or less, if you run through the whole museum. )
* Haruko keeps up a fast walk and tries to finish up. "Oh, if you ever think you 
might be dealing with a fake me, Satoshi can scan without asking my permission. 
I trust him, and I don't have any secrets." Slight trace of a frown. "Not 
anymore."
* Haruko plays with her hair a bit as she rushes.
* Taki doesn't quite manage to say "I'm sorry," but it's a close thing, "You 
allways put them back right?"
* Taki continues to follow Haruko.
* Haruko almost glares at Taki for a moment. "Don't take that tone, *you* didn't 
do anything wrong."
* Haruko slows down a bit as she gets to the last section, and starts the 
searching.
<Taki> No...I only totaly failed to notice that my first friend in years got 
herself kidnapped and replaced.
<Taki> I only had a month to work it out.
<Taki> Nrrgh, When I find her again...
* Haruko blinks at that, but doesn't press. "We all act funny under stress, 
we're all probably changing in ways we don't want to."
<Taki> It's just so frustrating.
* Haruko nods. "We can just try to do the right thing, sometimes, heck, maybe 
often we'll get manipulated, but we're not clever enough to do anything else. 
And I don't know if I want to be that clever."
* Taki sighs, "I want to be clever enough to run or ruin my own life myself."
* Taki looks to see if there is anybody else in the hall with them.
* Haruko pats Taki on the back. "You'll get there." She then adopts a grim 
smile. "If it makes you feel any better I'm trying to stop." She then scowls. 
"Not that trying to deal with Kaede made it easy."
<Taki> I don't know how to deal with Kaede...He's done so much more than I ever 
could...and he's HAD to do it.... I guess it's that he's got years more 
experience at dealing with himself than either of us.
<Taki> (RDM pokes the Brett to see if there's anything keeping Taki from 
teleporting them to at least the end of the hall)
* Haruko nods. "I hope you're right about him, that he'll adapt on his own. But 
I've figured out he and I just don't mesh, our approaches, our mentalities, they 
just clash to much." She looks down for a moment. "I'll do what I can for him 
indirectly, but directly, I give up."
<Katie> (You mean besides that there's likely security cameras, since this is an 
art museum?)
<Haruko> (They tend to be focused on the art. Might be a non-art place to port 
out of)
<Taki> (Glitch in the system, and Taki's thinking about other things right now)
<Taki> Just have to try and make things as smooth as we can...and not let him 
know we're doing it so he can't get angry at us for trying....We're doomed.
<Haruko> That's why I'm just going to deal with Akemi and Kyon on this.  I think 
it's easier for both Kaede and I if we don't deal directly with each other.
* Taki nods.
* Haruko then scowls. "He thought I was willing to hurt Miho frivilously. I 
don't mind that he and Katie thinks I'm a flake, well maybe I do, but I'd 
*never* hurt anyone on a lark or a guess, or speculation."

<Haruko> ( <Haruko> Am not! )
<Katie> (Liar.)
* Taki nods, "I make sure to only hurt people who are in serious need of it."
