* Haruko sighs and picks up her cell and hits redial, hoping Katie's line won't 
be busy this time.
* Katie looks up from her homework and yells, "<Someone get that!>" When nobody 
does, she gets to her feet and goes into the family room, where she picks up the 
phone. "Hello?"
* Haruko smiles. "Hey, Katie? It's Haruko."
* Katie blinks. "Oh, hi Haruko. How are you? I went out with Chikako today, 
so..."
<Haruko> Yeah... I've got some news you should know.. This a safe time?
* Katie shrugs and sits on the couch. "Yeah. Dad's working late, and Mom's not 
paying any attention, or she would have picked up the phone."
* Haruko nods and collects her thoughts for a moment before speaking. "There was 
a fight, Tenjirou's in the hospital, probably out cold for a while but I can't 
be sure of that."
* Katie tilts her head.
<Katie> Who put him there?
<Haruko> Satoshi and Kaede.  Kaede had called an ambulence before I got there.  
They're both alright, if a bit hurt and traumatized.
<Katie> Okay.  What did he do?
<Haruko> I haven't got all the details yet.  But Remi was with him and didn't 
know about his power.  He also was able to control Taki.
* Katie blinks. "And he's still alive?"
<Zegon> (Yeah, that's what *I* was wondering.)
<Haruko> Yes.  We have a while to figure out what to do about him.  I'm calling 
you because I'm afraid that just started a war with the band.
<Ciara> (Because Satoshi's a freakin' wuss, that's why! ;p)
<Rowyn> (Yeah...a wuss who dented a lamppost when Tenjirou flew into it ;P)
<Ciara> (<Satoshi> I didn't mean to! ;_;)
<Haruko> (When superpowers are involved, lampposts get hurt.  It's in the rules, 
it's the way of things.)
<Zegon> (<Fadi> Just kick his ass!)
<RDMgryphon> (No, when superpowers are involved Tokyo Tower gets hurt.)
* Katie mmms and twirls the cord between her fingers. "Too bad."
<Ciara> (We have two Tokyo Towers!)
* Haruko pauses for a few seconds, and her voice is somewhat emotionless. "We'll 
discuss that later...."
<Haruko> But.. I don't know how long it will take for him to wake up, or for the 
Band to assign blame...
* Haruko keeps speaking and an edge has returned to her voice. "But given how 
they think, they may blame you. I'm still figuring out how to react but, I 
thought you had to know."
* Katie shrugs.
<Katie> They already want to kill me.
* Haruko sighs. "I don't know. They may decide they can't wait any longer. I can 
give you any more details if I know them, and if there's anyway I can help 
protect you, just say so."
* Katie shakes her head. "Haruko, just... I'll talk to you at school tomorrow. 
Thanks for the warning."
* Haruko 's voice sounds fairly sad and resigned. "Yeah, good night Katie. Be 
careful."
<Katie> I will.  Good night.
* Haruko hangs up.
* Katie hangs up, too, and heads back to her room for more schoolwork.
