Known Plot arcs in Arcana (arcs. Arcana. Get it? Haw!) Last updated: session 64 (CP gain updated session 70) =Unfinished Arcs= (No particular order) Reincarnation: The Arcana that walk the earth today are the reincarnations of previous Arcana, the most recent of which died in the bombing of Hiroshima in 1945. But the question of where the Arcana come from and why they exist are still unanswered, as well as why they are all of Japanese decent. Judgement: Who, or what is Judgement? Nobody's quite certain, but Matthias recently came up with a theory: Maybe Judgement is targeting only specific Arcana: those involved with the drugs. The War: There's a conflict brewing between the seven arcana that have formed a musical band, and the ever confident Sho Shinjo. But what is Sho's brother Ryo up to? The Drugs: After some new issues were brought to light by Matthias, the team questioned Yurika Miataka, a convicted drug dealer. They found out that the suppliers never met with the dealers in person, instead just leaving the drugs in a specified location. They also discovered that the suppliers do not ask for anything in return for distributing them. Illusionary Vision: How much of this is even real? With Meimi in a coma, subconsciously creating illusions left and right, nobody can be certain. Where'd Reiji Go: Kyon's number one ally, Reiji Ozora, seems to have vanished into thin air. Is he a victim of Judgement or Saki? Or is something else entirely going on here? According to a reading done by Kyon, Haruko holds the key to this mystery. To make matters worse, recently Reiji's sister Kyoko vanished, as well. Kyon's Enemies: Riko Tokuzawa, a new transfer student and an apparent martial artist, attacks Kyon for no reason. Or does she have a reason after all? Could Sho be manipulating her? Tuxedo Shamrock: He fires claymores with a bow and protects the innocent from evil! ... Who is this mysterious masked man, anyhow? The Dream: After learning that the Shingo Ryuzaki they knew was merely an illusion, the group is directed by an illusionary Takeo to the real Shingo. But this one is convinced Katie is Judgement. Is he mad? Or is he right? The Band seems to think so, especially since their guitarist, Zein Toru, backs him up. The Black Cards: Katie gets a mysterious phone she can barely make out, but it seems to be a warning of some sort. After discussing with the others, they come up with a theory: Could these so-called black cards be reversed Arcana? They could be right. Or maybe not; only time will tell. Jin: A mysterious man inexplicably shows up out of the blue with a message for the group. But he can't remember what that message is. He can't remember much of anything, for that matter. Over-protective: Katie's would-be boyfriend Taro Nishizaka declares he'll protect her from anyone. But is this a good thing? Probably not, so Katie broke up with him, and now it's over... right? Four of Swords: A blind Arcana declares that he will battle the group no less than three times. He believes in fate. Can it be changed? Voices: Kaori Kajiyama, who's drunken father died in a car crash with Taki's mother eight years ago, claims to hear voices, much like the hobo Katie and Haruko met. Though not arcana, she claims the voices get worse when she nears the Tower. Obsession: Yushiro, the new transfer student, has a vendetta against the group for rescuing his sister, whom he seems obsessed with. But how deep does this obsession run? Fake Kyon: Immediately after Kyon supposedly left for his home in Aomori, he seemed to show up again. A quick phone call to the real Kyon proved this new one to be an imposter, but what is it that he wants? =Finished Arcs= (Also no particular order) Murder Mystery: A student named Miki Tanaka is dead, her friend Eiko Amano accused of murdering her. Remi Okui, friend to both, was determined to prove Eiko's innocence and bring the real culprit to justice... or worse. The murder turned out to be Katsuchiyo Iwato, the son of a philosophy professor, and also a druglord and the Five of Swords. Though Remi was unable to take part in his defeat, Eiko was avenged in spades. Who's the old guy?: Meimi was haunted by an old man who would show up periodically, just to insult her. He revealed himself as Mr. Fudge, an illusion of her second grade teacher that she created subconsciously. He also informed Meimi that she herself was an illusion, causing them both to vanish. Gunshots and Sorrow: Taki got shot! How could such a horrible thing happen? Well, actually, it didn't. The Taki who was shot was just an illusion, while the real one was out of town, snowed in. Goalie #32: When the goalie for Sakuragaoka's hockey team calls it quits a few weeks before the next game, Satoshi, faced with a crisis, pleads with the others for help. Taki volunteers to become the new goalie, but can she learn how how to be one in time? Cherry Blossom Festival: The Sakuragaoka Cherry Blossom Festival was held on March 1st! Our heros enjoyed themselves hand had a good time, for the most part. =CP gainage= Session 32 - 1 normal CP, 1 CP to only be used on special attributes.
