[Day: Saturday, Oct. 5th. Time: 9:00 p.m.] [Thanks to Herman's not-really-teleport spell, you're back in ChemicalDyne, in Himmel's lab. The Asahara guy you're waiting for has yet to arrive. Soooooooo....] [Session Start!] * Herman walks through the doorway last, holding his pipe in one hand. He's frowning a little and looking around. "So, we're here. Now what?" * Khalil steps through and looks about. Has anything changed? [Nothing has changed! Well... Actually it's been cleaned up a bit. But the big machine is still there.] (Didn't we break that?) ( We'll say that the crew took out the important parts, and left the shell intact. ) ( Hence the clean up ) * Khalil takes off his robe and sighs, folding it up and tossing it aside. "I suppose we wait." He moves his arms to stretch and flex. Wearing that robe all the time must get stiff and overbearing. [Khalil stretches like a stud.] I'm working on getting a comm system for us, so we can communicate if we get separated. Be nice to have it now... could stick someone on the roof to let us know when the Asahara guy's coming. * Khalil does not. >.> * Herman looks around. "Ashley can illusion up a mad scientist, can't he?" [Buldging Biceps galore, he's the king of the beach. Er.... he would be if there was one. All the ladies can't keep their eyes off him.... which I guess is just Alys, except she might be interested in something else for all we know.] * Khalil still is not. I think so. Rest of us should spread out in the room, get ready to surround the guy... *looks around* ... Khalil, you should prolly get up high, so you can swoop down behind the guy and block the door. * Alys does watch Khalil for a moment, regardless of his studliness. Then she starts staring at the hairs on her arm. Later folx * Ten gets carried off by Lukas to do computery type stuff... possibly having to do with the giant machine or something. * Khalil glances at Togo for a moment. "You do realize that I am not in the proper form for that, do you not?" ... right. Sorry. Keep forgetting that you can't just pop between forms. * Khalil folds his arms across his chest. "It would not be a "curse" if I could choose one at will, would it not be?" * Alys shrugs and moves to the side of the room, which seems decently spread out, and sits down with her tarot cards for a game of solitaire. Wouldn't know. Look, are we supposed to do... whatever it is we need to do to get ready for this guy, or not? * Togo sighs. "Okay. I'm gonna regret this... Ashley, can you make Alys appear to be Himmel, since she speaks German, and make me look like one of his creepy cyborg maids at the same time?" ... Togo as a maid is an extremely creepy thought. * Ashley shakes his head, clearing it of some reverie. "Not a problem. And a personal pleasure." He grins. Oooh. I can be mad scientist-y! I even have a decent German accent, when I want to! * Herman looks interested. "Can you make her sound like him?" And what role are we supposed to play? I can make her voice sound like his, certainly. * Herman shrugs. "Maybe Ashley can have us vanish." * Alys takes a peek at what her first card would have been, then puts all the cards back in her pocket and runs over to the machine. "Illusion me up!" The rest of you hide, and spring out once I get behind the guy and block the door. I doubt an Asahara agent'll surrender peacefully, but I take it you'd all rather if we tried before going to the violence. * Khalil 's tail bristles as he hears Alys. "That girl is entirely too eager.." * Herman looks around for a good place to hide. Hm. * Khalil looks for a place to hide. He can make it a good place. [There's not much hiding opportunity. There's some tables which could be seen around, and there's the big door, which about three people could fit behind.] (How about the machine?) ( Can't get behind it ) * Khalil furrows his brow. "It won't be that easy..." Though... 2 2d8-4 * Diceroshi throws the bones for Ashley (2 2d8-4) and gets a natural 10 for a result of 8 6. (Hmm, where's Lukas?) (He's going to go up to the roof and keep an eye out!) (With Ten?) (I can be left behind to act as a relay!) You guys could really just hide along the wall near the door. Once we get him into the room, that's that. * Khalil eyes Herman. "I suppose we could fit. I prefer not to have everyone hide in the same area though..." * Ashley waves his hands in front of him. Without fanfare, Alys looks precisely like Himmel, and Togo looks precisely like one of the maids! Hoorah! * Herman picks up Ten and walks to behind the door. "Yeah, okay. [Togo is one hawt maid-scientist chick.] Okay, so what's my excuse for whatshername being gone? Or should I just make one up? Everyone gather close. Hiding's just so gauche, you know? * Ten gets carried by Herman and doesn't weigh very much at all. * Herman crouches down. He's hiding! She had to be taken to another facility, perhaps? By the time he notices, he'll be in the room. * Khalil frowns at Ashley. "I prefer to stay unseen by my own means." [Togo has a sexy voice, too!] Right. Okay. My voice is so nifty like this. Idea is to spring the trap immediately... *pauses; rubs throat* ... so don't worry about explaining anything. ...and Togo. Please do not talk while like that. Ever. * Herman stands and looks at Ashley. "Why didn't you say so?" He walks over to stand by the guy, because hey! Effective invis. * Herman brings Ten with. He's like Lukas! With a pipe. I was in the process of doing so. * Ten and a pipe: the ultimate fashion accessories. * Khalil eyes Herman, but very well. He walks over reluctantly to stand by Ashley. 2d8-4 * Diceroshi throws the bones for Ashley (2d8-4) and gets a natural 9 for a result of 5. * Ashley snaps his fingers, and the group turns invisible! Awesomes. * Herman is invisible. Yay for invis! (Today, the part of Lukas will be relayed by Ashley!) (Huzzah!) Oh, that reminds me. Anyone ever mentions this... *points to self* ... again, and I do mean things to them. Very mean things. Wouldn't dream of it, Togo. Hey, it was your idea. * Ashley is smiling, but you can't see it! * Herman is a disembodied voice. Mweh heh heh. I know. Whatever it takes to get the mission right. *chuckles lightly* Doesn't mean I'm proud of it. If it helps at all, it's a very nice voice. ( Hearing checks! ) 2d8 * Diceroshi throws the bones for Ten (2d8) and gets a natural 6 for a result of 6. 2d8 * Diceroshi throws the bones for Ashley (2d8) and gets a natural 11 for a result of 11. 2d8 * Diceroshi throws the bones for Alys (2d8) and gets a natural 10 for a result of 10. 2d8-2 * Diceroshi throws the bones for Khalil (2d8-2) and gets a natural 9 for a result of 7. 2d8-6 * Diceroshi throws the bones for Togo (2d8-6) and gets a natural 9 for a result of 3. [Khalil and Alys and Togo hear footsteps! Multiple.] 2d8-2 * Diceroshi throws the bones for Lukas (2d8-2) and gets a natural 5 for a result of 3. [Lukas too. How 'bout that?] * Alys messes with a machine and looks busy. * Khalil glances at Alys and Togo but doesn't say anything. He's supposed to be invisible. So if he says something that kind of defeats the purpose. * Ten turns her head to get a better view of the door. [Shortly, a big black man enters the room. He's got shades and dredlocks, and looks like he could be a gangster if he wasn't wearing a business suit. He's carrying a briefcase. Flanking him are two other, less descript MiBs. They're both blond and wearing dark suits. One's a little taller than the other. Else, they're not so different.] * Alys doesn't pay any attention to them! Because she's supposed to be deaf and she's not looking that way. [The black guy swaggers towards Himmel, pointing at him. "Yo, yo! Whassap, m' man Himmel!" He switches to German. <"M' boyz an' I are here to seal the deal. Check it, yo.">] (...ZOMG...Germbonics.) (HA.) (My brain needs rebooting) (Hoo, boy.) * Togo closes the door behind them, and stands there quietly, zombie-cyborg- fetish-maid-like. (Gerbonics. Potential session title name, I think.) [<"What up, yo? Where m' chick?">] * Alys happens to glance that way and looks startled. [His accent is American. Where in America... I'll let you guess.] (*snicker*) ["<'Sup man? Got nothing t' say? C'mon, man.>"] [One of the guards turns to regard Togo.] * Togo pulls out his shotgun, and cocks it with a loud KA-CHAK. "Will 'Freeze, hands above your head' do?" [The black guy turns. He stares at Togo, then chuckles, revealing a mouth full of pearly whites. "Oh, ha ha. I'm crackin' up here." He turns back to Alys. "" [The guards don't think it's funny, though. They reach inside their coats.] [He loses his grin, and looks quite angry now. ""] * Togo shakes his head at the guards. "I wouldn't." 2d8-4 * Diceroshi throws the bones for Ashley (2d8-4) and gets a natural 7 for a result of 3. * Herman raises his pipe and starts whispering under his breath. * Ashley does something invisible, and they become suddenly visible, along with five people nobody else has seen before, in no discernable uniform, but carrying Very Large Guns. The man's got a good idea, you realize. [The two guards do draw their guns, now. The black guy laughs again, but humorously. He spreads his arms wide, and glares at Alys. " Wait a sec. What the fuck, man? You ain't Himmel!"] [The guards each have uzis, by the way.] (Whoa, I didn't drop the Himmel illusion. Or the maid.) ( Yeah, but he kind of figured it out. ) * Alys feels for her chains beneath the illusion, unclips them, and grins at the black guy. "Time for fun!" Still with the accent and voice, which she thinks is awesome. ["Okay." He nods to himself. "Alright. Yeah, time for fun. Time for fuckin' fun!"] ( Gimme init rolls ) You're under arrest. You have the right to be shot repeatedly. If you want to waive that right, I suggest you put your hands above your head. 2d8+7 * Diceroshi throws the bones for Ashley (2d8+7) and gets a natural 5 for a result of 12. 2d8+14 * Diceroshi throws the bones for Khalil (2d8+14) and gets a natural 5 for a result of 19. 2d8+14 * Diceroshi throws the bones for Togo (2d8+14) and gets a natural 4 for a result of 18. 2d8+13 * Diceroshi throws the bones for Alys (2d8+13) and gets a natural 9 for a result of 22. 2d8+7 * Diceroshi throws the bones for Ten (2d8+7) and gets a natural 11 for a result of 18. 2d8+7 * Diceroshi throws the bones for Lukas (2d8+7) and gets a natural 11 for a result of 18. (Tonight's game has been brought to you by the number eighteen) 2d8+7 * Diceroshi throws the bones for Herman (2d8+7) and gets a natural 11 for a result of 18. [Order is: Alys, Khalil, Black Guy, Togo, ten, Lukas, Herman, Goon1, Goon2, Ashley] [Alys's turn] * Alys swings her chains at the black guy, because his complete non-Britishness is worse than Togo's and freaking her out. 2 2d8-2 * Diceroshi throws the bones for Alys (2 2d8-2) and gets a natural 12 for a result of 10 10. [He moves back a bit, however, and Alys's chains miss.] [Khalil's turn] * Khalil shakes his head. "I do sometimes wonder why we even bother with the 'talking stage' by now." He rushes forward towards the nearest guard, unhooking the whip to snag his weapon and pull it away (Disarm). 2d8-2 * Diceroshi throws the bones for Khalil (2d8-2) and gets a natural 8 for a result of 6. [Khalil disarms the man! With east, in fact.] (Yes! I have the power of the rising sun!) [Meanwhile the black dude growls. "You made a big mistake, yo. You don't know who you're messing with. I'm the Frog, yo! The Frog! Check it!" and on that last word, his tounge whips out towards Alys, who needs an unarmed def (grabs) roll.] 2d8 * Diceroshi throws the bones for Alys (2d8) and gets a natural 7 for a result of 7. ( We're about to take a licking. ) (And keep on ticking) [Alys dodges out of the way! But the black guy quickly throws off his shirt and jacket. His back... um.... bubbles. Ew. And four small brown frogs hop out of it. More ew.] [Togo's turn!] * Togo circles around a bit to get a better firing position, and fires his shotgun at The Frog, trying to catch some of the frogs (note the lowercase) in the blast if possible. 2d8-3 * Diceroshi throws the bones for Togo (2d8-3) and gets a natural 5 for a result of 2. [Togo shoots the guy! But instead of blood, yellowish... stuff... comes out. He also splatters two of the frogs.] (You're poppin' his chillin's yo!) [Ten's turn] 2d8-3 * Diceroshi throws the bones for Ten (2d8-3) and gets a natural 10 for a result of 7. [The other armed goon looks surprised as he's no longer armed. His gun flies straight to the ground.] [Lukas's turn] * Lukas pulls a gun from the side pocket of his backpack, draws a bead on The Frog, and fires a dart at him! 2d8-3 * Diceroshi throws the bones for Lukas (2d8-3) and gets a natural 13 for a result of 10. [Lukas shoots the wall. It goes unconscious!] [Herman's turn!] * Herman finishes his chanting, practically yelling out the last two words in Anglo-Saxon as the ground rumbles beneath the black frog guy's feet. Cracks appear, and vines break through, shooting up to ensnare him. 2d8-4 * Diceroshi throws the bones for Herman (2d8-4) and gets a natural 11 for a result of 7. [Some of the tangles grab him, but he moves out of the way before he's thoroughly ensnared.] [Goon1 was disarmed by Khalil. He shrugs at him, then goes. "Bleh!" Something flies from his mouth, and Khalil needs a def roll!] [And so we don't have to wait, the other one does the same thing at Togo.] 2d8-2 * Diceroshi throws the bones for Khalil (2d8-2) and gets a natural 10 for a result of 8. 2d8-3 * Diceroshi throws the bones for Togo (2d8-3) and gets a natural 10 for a result of 7. [Togo manages to dodge! Khalil doesn't, and gets grazed on his shoulder. The greatswords (yes! They spit greatswords!) hit the walls and get stuck, vibrating back and forth with a Twonnnnnnnnnnng! Sound.] [Ashley's turn!] (Ack! They're Tux Shamrock's evil twins!) * Ashley has his goons circle around and fire, but they apparently have stormtrooper aim. Ashley waves his hands. 2d8-4 * Diceroshi throws the bones for Ashley (2d8-4) and gets a natural 10 for a result of 6. [Oh noes!] * Ashley smiles as the door to the place erupts in very realistic and even hot- feeling flames! Yay, flames! (How close are we to the fire?) [Meanwhile, the frogs go! One jumps at an Ashley goon and lands on nothing. The other jumps at Alys, who needs a def roll!] (Not very, but close enough to feel the heat.) 2d8 * Diceroshi throws the bones for Alys (2d8) and gets a natural 13 for a result of 13. ( Now make a soul roll ^^ ) * Ten does her best to put a bit more of Herman between herself and the fire. 2d8 * Diceroshi throws the bones for Alys (2d8) and gets a natural 5 for a result of 5. * Herman is holding Ten in front of him, so no bloody way. [A frog lands on Alys's head and gets slime in her hair. Doesn't seem to do much else.] [Alys's turn] * Ten stops struggling then. Eeeeeeew. Yuck! * Alys tries to grab the frog and toss it somewhere that isn't her poor hair. (Um. How do I roll that?) ( Mmmm. Unarmed attacks (throw), -2 bonus ) 2d8-2 * Diceroshi throws the bones for Alys (2d8-2) and gets a natural 3 for a result of 1. (accurate frogs!) [Alys grabs the sucker and tosses it away.] [Khalil's turn] * Khalil grabs at his room and looks at the goons in astonishment for a moment, then checks over his shoulder. He goes towards the imbedded sword and tries to pull it out of the wall. The handle's all slick and sticky. Ewww. [Khalil gets a greatsword! It's covered in saliva. And the top wobbles like it was a cheap plastic sword.] [The black guy whips his tongue at Alys again!] * Khalil pokes the tip with his finger. "Okay. How does something like *this* stick in a wall in the first place?" (I'm getting picked on. ;_;) 2d8 * Diceroshi throws the bones for Alys (2d8) and gets a natural 15 for a result of 15. (Alys isn't a pyrophobic pyrokinetic, is she?) [The tongue wraps around Alys! He pulls his head to the side and lifts her off her feet, tossing her at Togo.] (Arsenal: That would be awesome! But no.) 2d8 * Diceroshi throws the bones for Alys (2d8) and gets a natural 6 for a result of 6. (I had an Alys in one of my games that was precisely that) (Neat!) [Alys manages to maneuver herself so that the impact doesn't hurt as much as it could have, but Togo is taken completely off guard as Alys slams into him, knocking him over.] [Ten's turn] 2d8 * Diceroshi throws the bones for Ten (2d8) and gets a natural 14 for a result of 14. [Lukas's turn] * Lukas , seeing that people are spitting swords, decides that they're dangerous again and takes a shot at one of them. 2d8-3 * Diceroshi throws the bones for Lukas (2d8-3) and gets a natural 12 for a result of 9. [That doesn't work out so well, though.] [Togo can go! He got knocked down by an Alys.] * Togo rolls to one knee, and fires again at The Frog. 2d8-3 * Diceroshi throws the bones for Togo (2d8-3) and gets a natural 8 for a result of 5. [Togo blasts him again! He's not looking too good. And doesn't seem to have the strength to fight against the weeds entangling him now.] [Herman's turn] [Herman is dumbfounded by pretty fire.] [Goon1 spits another greatsword at Khalil! Bleh!] ( Fire bad! FIRE BAD! ... not that I'm one to talk. ) 2d8-2 * Diceroshi throws the bones for Khalil (2d8-2) and gets a natural 9 for a result of 7. [And goon2 spits one at Togo again! Guy just can't get a break.] 2d8-3 * Diceroshi throws the bones for Togo (2d8-3) and gets a natural 9 for a result of 6. [Khalil dodges the sword!] [So does Togo!] [Herman can go now if he wants.]* Herman shakes his head, sets Ten down, and runs for the frog guy, gripping his pipe with both hands and trying to just knock him out. 2d8-3 * Diceroshi throws the bones for Herman (2d8-3) and gets a natural 14 for a result of 11. [Herman is dicehated!] * Ten can stand on her own! [Ashley's turn!] * Ashley does some rather fancy handwaving. His goons march forward, trying to press the other goons towards the door, firing stupidly as they do so. Meanwhile, Alys ceases to look like Himmel. (End turn.) [The frogs! ... They jump at fake goons.] [Alys's turn!] * Alys hops to her feet after being tossed and rushes at goon2, swinging her chains at him. She doesn't seem to notice that she looks like herself again. 2 2d8-2 * Diceroshi throws the bones for Alys (2 2d8-2) and gets a natural 9 for a result of 3 7. [Goon2 is smacked hard, twice. THWACK x2!] [Khalil's turn] * Khalil glances at the vines entangling the Frog and shakes his head. With this kind of sword, he'd more likely cut him free than cut him. He goes after the goons, waving the sword in the air. 2d8-1 * Diceroshi throws the bones for Khalil (2d8-1) and gets a natural 10 for a result of 9. (Go wobble sword, go!) (Wobbly!) ( I'm picturing the singing sword from Who Framed Roger Rabbit? ) [Khalil cuts... or more like bonks... a guard over the head.] [Black Dude mutters, "... Definitely uncool, yo."] [Togo's turn!] (This is why swords should be made out of iron and not irony) (But how *did* they stick into those walls? The world may never know!) (The same way a tornado can put a straw through a telephone pole!) ( Are the two goons still standing? ) ( Yes ) * Togo pulls out his revolver, with neurostun bullets, and fires a shot at the goon Alys hit. 2d8-3 * Diceroshi throws the bones for Togo (2d8-3) and gets a natural 7 for a result of 4. [He goes rigid, then collapses.] [Ten's turn] 2d8 * Diceroshi throws the bones for Ten (2d8) and gets a natural 10 for a result of 10. [Lukas's turn] * Lukas shifts aim, again, and tries to take out the head guy. 2d8-3 * Diceroshi throws the bones for Lukas (2d8-3) and gets a natural 8 for a result of 5. [Well, he ain't going anywhere, sooo... He gets hit! ... and remains conscious. "Agh! Motherfuckin'...!"] [Herman's turn] * Herman taps his pipe against one hand. "I think now's a good time to give up," he comments. [The goon respons to Herman by spitting a greatsword at him. "Bleh!"] 2d8 * Diceroshi throws the bones for Herman (2d8) and gets a natural 10 for a result of 10. (Use the pipe to "batter-up" the sword! XD) (What, I can't even hit a tied person with that pipe.) [Herman's leg is grazed by a greatsword. Ouch!] [Ashley's turn!] * Ashley throws a ridiculous number of knives (think Macross-style missiles) at the remaining goon! "I have to admit, that bit with the swords is incredibly unattractive." 2d8 * Diceroshi throws the bones for Ashley (2d8) and gets a natural 6 for a result of 6. (Huzzah!) ( Ashley's fighting style is all wrong. He ought to initiate a downhill charge, like falling blossoms. ) [Ashley hits the guy with the knife, though; he staggers a bit, clutching his gut, then falls over.] * Herman grimaces, looking down at his leg. "Swords. What the fuck." [The black guy grumbles, "Okay. Okay. I give man. Fuck."] * Herman kicks the greatsword away. * Ashley adjusts his shirt, and dusts it off a little. His goons disappear. Togo, however? Still a cybermaid. * RowynAway is now known as Khalil * Khalil looks at the fallen goon and tosses the useless sword aside. He starts walking over to the Frog. "I do wonder what twisted individual deems it amusing to send these sorts after us." * Alys pumps a fist into the air. "Ha! We win, we.... aw, the voice is gone." She fingers a slimy braid and grimaces. "Speak for yourself, Muzzie." Now the- *pauses* ... Ashley. The illusion? * Ashley grins. "Must I? I find it rather fetching, to tell the truth." * Khalil looks at the Frog oddly. "Muzzie?" * Ashley moves his finger, though, and Togo loses the illusion. * Togo clears his throat. "Thank you." * Herman shrugs. (The guy walked in with a case, right? Where is it?) (The door fire fades, too.) [He's still carrying it.] * Ten walks over to Lukas. * Khalil glances at the jacket and walks over to it to pick up and search. * Togo pulls his shotgun back out. "Slide the case over to me." Hey Pipe Guy, you don't happen to have a hair washing spell, do you? ["Yeah, yeah, you go ahead and do that, Muzzie. Take my wallet, yo. Allah won't mind. He likes thieves."] * Lukas picks up Ten, pats her on the head, and holds her in his arms. * Khalil just glances at the Frog. "You, sir, are walking on very thin stuff here." He keeps searching for ID and anything else important. * Herman shakes his head at Alys. "Sorry. Best I can do it this." He opens his backpack and pulls out a bottle of water, tossing it to her. Good night, all. * Herman shifts, wincing a little as he puts some weight on his bad leg. (Aah! Voices from nowhere!) [Khalil finds the guy's wallet! It says "Good night, all."] * Togo chambers a round into his shotgun. "The case. Slide it over." A talking wallet. Though at this point, nothing surprises me. * Khalil opens the wallet and checks inside. * Alys grabs the bottle and sighs, then opens it and tilts forward a bit so the water won't get on the rest of her, while pouring it slowly on her head and trying to wipe the mess off. Not that it helps much. Slimy braids. Ew. * Ashley casually looks on. [He looks at Togo. "What case, yo? This? This isn't a case, man, it's a portable storage compartment. Word."] [Khalil finds money! About two hundred dollars. Yes, dollars.] * Khalil isn't looking for money. Is looking for ID. >.> * Herman frowns. He walks over, not getting between the frog guy and the gun, and just tries to take the case from him. [Khalil finds a driver's license.] * Khalil looks at the license. ... slide the personal storage compartment over. Now. [Meanwhile the guy calls to him. "Fuckin' a', yo. Thought you Muzzies could only fight by blowing y'selves up. That shit not tight no more?"] [He looks back at Togo. "Oh, you don't want this, man."] (I couldn't take it?) I did tell you, in not too many words, to shut "it". Do not make me reinforce my statement. * Khalil doesn't look up as he keeps searching. [The liscense gives the guy's statistics: Denzel Harrisburg. Age: 37. State issued: California. etc etc etc.] ( Body roll -3 bonus Herman! ) So why come here all the way from California, Mister Harrisburg? 2d8-3 ["Oh what? You'll get a ten year old kid to run up to me with a grenade? Ooh. Scary."] * Diceroshi throws the bones for Herman (2d8-3) and gets 13, a CRITICAL FAILURE!!! "Death is temporary, only failure is forever. You may have just done both." * Alys, still dripping, walks over to Khalil to watch what he's doing. "Find anything good?" (Jesus Christ. Maybe I shouldn't be playing today. o_o;) (...) [Herman tugs and tugs, but doesn't get the case. The guy grins. "You weak like a chick, yo. Check it."] (Dood Ard! Did Dicy catch you with some other bot or something? o_o) * Khalil snorts. "Herman. Make me sneeze. I'll pry it from him." * Togo puts away his shotgun for a moment, and tries to get the case from The Frog. You don't see me tied down by a pile of weeds. * Herman pulls again. * Khalil tosses Alys the drivers license. 2d8-3 * Diceroshi throws the bones for Togo (2d8-3) and gets a natural 13 for a result of 10. [Togo doesn't do any better. The guy laughs aloud. "Buncha sissies."] (Do I get a reroll, or is the crit fail forever?) ( You can roll again. ) 2d8-3 * Diceroshi throws the bones for Herman (2d8-3) and gets a natural 10 for a result of 7. * Togo steps aside so Herman can get another turn. * Khalil sighs and puts a hand on Herman's shoulder. "Allow me." Of all the fucking- [Herman fails again! The guy is beyond words now. He keeps laughing.] * Herman lets go. "Fine, fine. Go ahead." 2d8-4 * Diceroshi throws the bones for Khalil (2d8-4) and gets a natural 5 for a result of 1. * Alys glances at the driver's license, then pockets it. * Khalil walks up to the Frog. And calmly punches him in the face first! He then tries to pull the case free. [Alys can drive and get booze now!] 2d8 * Diceroshi throws the bones for Khalil (2d8) and gets a natural 10 for a result of 10. [Khalil finally pries it out. The guy is punched! He laughs. "So brave when you got a guy outnumbered and unprepared. Man, you Muzzies are weak-ass shit. Weak. Ass. Shit."] 2d8-4 * Diceroshi throws the bones for Ashley (2d8-4) and gets a natural 5 for a result of 1. * Khalil ignores him and goes looking in the case. * Herman nods. He looks at Togo. * Ashley waves his fingers and the guy is suddenly not making noise. (Driving. YES.) Quite enough of that, really. * Khalil takes a deep breath. "For once, I thank you, Ashley." 2d8 * Diceroshi throws the bones for Khalil (2d8) and gets a natural 9 for a result of 9. Yes, well, there's only so much idiocy a man can take in a day. And here I was gonna suggest using it as a reason to kill him. [When Khalil attempts to open it, needles spike out and pierce his fingers. The black guy laughs silently.] Let's see what's in the case. If need be, we ca- cripes! * Alys glares at the guy and kicks him as hard as she can. [He collapses!] * Khalil drops the case and curses in Muslim severely. Several long strings. Allah wouldn't be pleased. See? You should have just done that in the first place. Are you okay? * Khalil shakes his finger. "Cannot believe...I fell for such a trick..." We'll leave it to Lukas. He's our resident lock guy. * Khalil eyes Togo and looks at the needles. Can he snap one off? He's also the most qualified to actually look at whatever's in there. * Lukas smirks slightly, and withdraws his gigantic set of lockpicking tools. * Herman shakes his head. "Yeah. But what're we gonna do with these guys?" I'd smash it open, but I don't wanna accidentally damage anything in there. * Khalil shakes his head. "Alys. Do you happen to have one of those paperclips you keep?" [The needles are too small to be snapped off by hand, but maybe with a blunt object they could.] * Lukas walks over to the case. "Are you gonna try that yourself? Cause if you are, you could try with some tools that don't suck." * Khalil glances at Lukas. "I could. But I wished to prove a point. Alys?" * Alys slides a paperclip out of one ear-piercing and holds it out. 2d8-3 * Diceroshi throws the bones for Herman (2d8-3) and gets a natural 8 for a result of 5. Be careful, Volt. Asahara was always massively over prepared when it came to safeguarding their data. * Herman is watching all of this. He's still annoyed over being unable to take the suitcase from the guy. * Khalil takes the paperclip, unbends it, then tries to pick the lock with said clip. * Lukas rolls his eyes. "Hey, it's your hands." And I've got four more, if you need them. The other ones are rainbow coloured. 2d8-4 * Diceroshi throws the bones for Khalil (2d8-4) and gets a natural 9 for a result of 5. Any real order to the colors? 2d8-5 * Diceroshi throws the bones for Khalil (2d8-5) and gets a natural 10 for a result of 5. The order in which I grab them out of my jar in the morning. It could have a deeper meaning. My whole daily schedule could be plotted out by which paperclips I get every morning! [The briefcase flips open. Revealing a large amount of money and a small, baseball-sized black sphere. It's got a grove running around it, with a reddish-orange color at the bottom of said groove.] * Khalil hears an easy snick of the lock and takes in a breath with relief. He shakes his hand upward and suddenly the clip's no longer in it. * Herman blinks and loses the frown. He looks to the corridor they came in through the first time, then walks in that direction to get a better look. "Think there's something there." Oh joy, more visitors. I would say so. Possibly something to do with what Himmel was attempting with the girl. [Sure enough, Herman's right! There's two women there. One's a gorgeous blond woman in a red dress that's slit up one side. The other is a familiar Rachel. She stops when she sees Herman. "Well, isn't this a surprise?"] * Khalil hands the briefcase carefully to Lukas. "No offense. I simply wanted to prove something." He doesn't have any appearance of smugness on his face at all. (Can we in the room see them?) * Herman fails to look surprised. "Hey, Rachel. Who's your friend?" ( Yes. They emerge from the corridor shortly. ) * Khalil then looks over at the two women. His tail stiffens for a second, then curls around his leg. * Herman watches, grip on his pipe. He doesn't take any attacks of opportunity at the moment, however. [She bows, saying with a French accent, "Nicolette Bordeaux, at your service."] * Ashley pauses, and beams. "Ladies! And how excellent to see you again." He makes a rather sweeping and elegant leg at Rachel. Ah, our favorite representatives of the mysterious Covenant. * Herman rolls his eyes. "What's with all the magic?" he asks Rachel. "Is everyone trying to be a fae these days?" [Rachel frowns. "Mmm, yes. Can't say we were expecting you."] * Alys holds her chains at her side and watches. [Nicolette's bow and smile both falter simultaneously. She looks up, wide-eyed, at Herman.] * Herman looks over at Nicolette, then grins. "Hi. I'm Herman, and I've been having a *really* bad day." Don't be so hard on them, Herman. Magic's all the rage, these days. * Ashley beams at Nicolette. "Such a unique name." [Rachel looks past Herman. "Me too. I see the guest of honor is here. But why the party crashers?"] I am afraid I would not know. Actually, the party's already happened. You were too late to crash it, and we were just going. [Rachel smiles. "Well, you did save us some trouble, taking down that man. I suppose we should thank you."] Yes. But as Herman stated, we were just going. With the man. We have more than a few questions for him. ["Don't let me stop you. I'll thank you to leave that man's belongings, however."] At what point will people stop wanting half of the remnants of our missions? I believe that was somewhat the purpose of the statement of departure. When they desire all of it, Ashley. Ah, of course. [The black man chuckles. He's not unconscious at all. "Heh. Buncha faeries? Ain't that the shit?" His tongue lashes out suddenly.] ( Gimme init rolls, -4 penalty! ) 2d8+3 * Diceroshi throws the bones for Herman (2d8+3) and gets a natural 9 for a result of 12. 2d8+3 * Diceroshi throws the bones for Ten (2d8+3) and gets a natural 6 for a result of 9. 2d8+10 * Diceroshi throws the bones for Khalil (2d8+10) and gets a natural 8 for a result of 18. 2d8+9 * Diceroshi throws the bones for Alys (2d8+9) and gets a natural 14 for a result of 23. (Again with the 18s!) 2d8+3 * Diceroshi throws the bones for Ashley (2d8+3) and gets a natural 12 for a result of 15. 2d8+3 * Diceroshi throws the bones for Lukas (2d8+3) and gets a natural 8 for a result of 11. [Alys reacts quickly!] 2d8+14 * Diceroshi throws the bones for Togo (2d8+10) and gets a natural 11 for a result of 21. * Alys does what she instinctively does when she doesn't like someone! She kicks the guy. 2d8 * Diceroshi throws the bones for Alys (2d8) and gets a natural 7 for a result of 7. [She kicks him, and knocks him out for real this time.] [Rachel smiles. "Well, that was exciting."] * Herman blinks as all of that happens, then says, "Yeah. Sure was. We'll be leaving now." * Khalil takes in a deep breath. "You should have seen it earlier." * Khalil closes the case. Cases are easier to carry when closed. * Alys kicks the guy again for good measure. "Stay there. Geez." [Rachel frowns. "Mmm, yes. I think we'll be leaving too." She quickly chants a spell, and she and the other woman vanish in a flash of light.] [Annnd... Session End!]
