* Keiko is walking. She's about halfway around to the office before she asks, "Did they find anything?" * Heinrick doesn't make a response just yet but does keep walking. He's keeping his attention off others who may be in the hallways. [Like a coupla security guards.] * Keiko just keeps walking, then. Her body posture is guarded and closed-up, unsurprisingly. She continues heading to the office in silence, before stepping back and letting him open the door. He lieks locked doors, I'm sure. * Heinrick does like locked doors. He unlocks it and lets her in first before following. * Keiko hesitates a moment before taking a deep breath and heading in. * Heinrick follows her in and locks the door behind him. "Have a seat." * Keiko sits down, slowly and carefully, then says in Japanese, (s/answer/ask) * Heinrick doesn't respond to the second question as he sits down. He doesn't switch languages. "As for your question, they did not find anything in your belongings, no." * Keiko exhales slowly. "I... guessed not, since I got them back. Instead of finding ashes." * Heinrick takes off his glasses with his right hand and rubs the bridge of his nose with his left, eyes closed before laying them down on his desk. "Miss Hanano, you know who those men were, correct?" * Keiko licks her lips, body tensing, before she mutters, "No." * Heinrick looks at her tersely, sans glasses. "Miss Hanano, they are suspecting that you may very well be a security risk to this facility. I believe it is in your best interests to be perfectly honest with me." * Keiko frowns and snaps back, "You would. But how am I supposed to know them? Did one of them say they knew me? 'Cause that'd be pretty... impossible." * Keiko 's voice gets colder. "Or maybe someone wiped my mind. Can never tell, can you." * Heinrick folds his hands, using the same tone. He doesn't seem very agitated with her response though. "You can continue to play this game if you wish. Thus far, though, you have shown yourself to be a capable ward. But at this point, it will not be my decision to make. So kindly treat this with the seriousness that it deserves." * Keiko shakes her plush duck at him. "I don't _know them_. Or didn't. Are they even alive anymore?" * Keiko then crosses her arms. "And I think mind wipes are very serious." * Heinrick takes a deep breath and leans back in his chair slightly. "I never said that I didn't believe you, Miss Hanano." * Heinrick leans forward. "So you have no idea who they were working for then, correct?" * Keiko runs her finger along her collar. "Didn't really get a feel for it. They knocked me out too damn early." * Heinrick shakes his head. "As far as we know, they don't know either. No visual contact. If you believe it would be useful to interrogate them in your own way, I will try to arrange that. There is no guarentee they will believe you, but it would at least add weight to the case that you don't know any more than they do." * Heinrick leans forward slightly. "Which leads me to the next question. Who had you before you came to this facility?" * Keiko quirks a grin. It's not a friendly one. "I could do that." Beat, then, "I don't think she'll like it." She? Control you mean? * Keiko nods slightly, then says, "You made it pretty clear how much she'll believe what I say. And you'll only have my word to take for it." * Keiko runs a hand back through her hair. "I didn't recognize any of them. But one of them recognized me. I was not an accidental... accidental target..." I am fully aware of that. They targetted no one else unless they got in the way. They also had a direct way of countering your defenses. * Heinrick folds his hands slightly. "The neurological scan did come up with something unusual. What are your thoughts?" He watches her, gauging for any reaction to his statement. * Keiko nods a little and then wraps her arms around herself. She glances to Heinrick, then, "I'm not normal to begin with. Especially not anymore." Beat, then, "People don't do what I do, right? Right." One of her hands rubs her stomach a moment. ( Does the other pat her head? ) (Nope.) * Heinrick smirks slightly at that. "Not that I'm aware of, no." He loses the smirk for a moment and puts his glasses back on, taking a deep breath. "Do you mind if I test something then? It won't hurt." * Keiko tenses a moment, then murmurs, "Nothing will ever hurt, or so I'm told." Beat, then, "What is it?" * Heinrick stands and walks over to the door, unlocking and opening it. "Follow me." He walks back in the direction of the rec room. * Keiko stands up slowly, and then shuffles after Heinrick. * Keiko TK-closes the door after them. (If the TP hasn't taken yet, I don't know if she's strong enough to do that!) ( It hasn't! ) (I suppose it's a heavy enough door that maybe I can't. Hmph.) (10 N of force might not be enough.)
