[Day: Friday, April 11th. Time: 9:30 a.m.] [Heinrick, who may or may not be injured from last night's battle, is called into Lydia's office first thing in the morning. Hooray.] [Start] * Heinrick walks up to Lydia's office casually, hands in his pockets. He takes out his hand and knocks/rings/whatever-future-presence-announcing-consists-of. [Lydia calls from within, "Come in."] * Heinrick heads into the office, neutral expression on his face. "You wanted to see me then." ( No, she wanted to see you now ) (Good thing I'm here now and not then then.) [Lydia doesn't waste any time. She stops working on whatever it is she's doing, folds her hands and looks at Heinrick. "You're on probabtion."] * Heinrick doesn't look surprised, but closes his eyes and gives a faint smirk. "I figured as much. This is in regard to the last mission I suppose?" ["That's right."] * Heinrick shrugs slightly. "Well. I understand your decision. And that this is what you have to do. I made a judgment that I was in the best interests of the organization as a whole, however. It's a pity upper management doesn't see it that way." (*"I believe was in the best interests" that should say.) ["Our best interests were not to lose track of Freidrich Stolt and Thomas van Trier."] Ah. And you were doing that by calling us off that mission entirely. I see. * Heinrick looks at Lydia more seriously. "I will still need access to the medical facilities in order to manufacture my medication. You realize that." ["No. We will have it sent to you. Dr. Siebert is capable of manufacturing your medication, and Dr. Pasche is working on something for your ward."] * Heinrick takes a deep breath. "Good. Unfortunately, I could not come up with anything for a vaccine for her. Hopefully Dr. Pasche finds something I cannot. Although I had hoped I could work in tandem with him." * Heinrick then glances her way again. "What of Keiko? Who will supervise her training while I am away?" ["Keiko is going to be confined to her room for a period of time. I suggest you provide her with some homework."] * Heinrick looks pensive for a moment. And silent as he pauses. Then he finally responds with, "How long, exactly?" ["One week, starting today."] And my probation? ["Two weeks, only because we can't afford a longer period."] * Heinrick laughs lightly. It is not an entirely pleasant laugh. "Homework...to do in her room...is that it?" ["That is the general idea, yes."] (Blind homework!) You do realize that she is essentially going to be in a state of sensory deprivation. [Lydia nods.] * Heinrick smiles faintly. "I see. Yes, I think I can have some homework to do for her then." He then glances at Lydia again. "How long do you presume before Dr. Pasche finds a cure?" [She shrugs. "Not being a medical doctor, I have no idea."] Very well. Who is going to tell Keiko the news then? ["I will, of course."] * Heinrick smirks slightly. "Permission to give Keiko her homework directly though? The way the chemicals work, I believe it might be awkward coming from elsewhere. She doesn't trust the organization yet. It's taken a long while to start to earn that trust." ["Blitzkrieg doesn't require her trust. Blitzkrieg requires her to do her job." But then she says: "You may deliver her homework before your probation begins."] * Heinrick smirks faintly. "She will do her job better if she has a sense of trust. Falsely or no. Did you not say originally you were concerned of her attempting to break the conditioning?" ( Did she? >.> ) (It's in the initial report Heinrick got!) (Under Lydia's notes.) ["Bypassing. The conditioning cannot, or at any rate has yet to, be broken. But she struck me as the type to look for ways around it then, and she does now."] * Heinrick stands slowly. "I'll go to record the homework now. I presume I am not allowed on the facilities or any contact? (Add "after today" at the end of that question.) [Lydia nods. "Barring a sudden emergency."] What of Section 1? ["Not in an official capacity."] Oh I assure you, this is not official. ["Then you can go through the standard process of civilian visitation. Section 1 is, after all, more of a public organization than the rest of Blitzkrieg."] ( You should visit section 3! They've got a cute psychic and a hot half-vampire. ) (Who's the half-vampire? I forget.) (The evil overlord of section 3.) (And the cute psychic is also around Keiko's age, isn't she?) (Iris is older, I believe.) (Cyra is more Keiko's age, but not a psychic.) ( Tavin von Haupt is the half-vampire. He's also in charge of the palce ) ( And Iris is 25. ) ( Which DOES make her closer to Keiko's age than Heinrick is. ) (That is true.) * Heinrick nods slightly. "I will still make certain that Keiko divulges full information regarding our mission, if there is any more that you wish to know. Simply because it wasn't authorized should not mean the information should be wasted." [Lydia nods.] Then I have your leave? [Lydia nods again! "Dismissed."] * Heinrick stands up and heads for the door. ( End? ) (This mini at least!) [End]
