<@Brett> [Date: Sunday, Feb. 21st. Time: 3:25 p.m. local. Location: Unknown] <@Brett> [You all wake up from not being dead to find yourself on what looks like a soccer ('scuse me, football) field. The plane has crashed into the bleechers, cracked down the middle. Parts of it are on fire. Part of the stadium is, too. Needless to say, you won't be flying that out of here.] <@Brett> [The good news is, no games were being hosted today, so you didn't commit manslaughter.] <@Brett> [The bad news is, Alysha is missing.] <@Brett> [Start] Fucking head, Everybody here? Yes * Montana groans, opening his eyes. "Uh." He sits up, clutching his head, and starts looking around for his hat. <@Brett> [Montana finds his hat. It landed on a soccer ball.] Shiho? Sonia? Boss? * Montana blinks at the hat, then picks it up and sets it on his head. And he picks up the soccer ball, saying unto it: "Thanks." * Sonia 'sits up' into a crouch and looks around. Her sunglasses have been thrown clear, so her purple eyes are visible. "I'm alive." * Nigel pushes himself up and shakes his head. "I hope no one was expecting to play today." He looks around the field. * Shiho sits up and looks around through narrowed eyes. Here. Fuck my life. Boss? <@Brett> [The soccer ball does not reply. Pity, it probably has a lot to say.] <@Brett> ( Like "Stop kicking me!" ) (*"Here. Fuck my life. Boss?") ("Today my plane took a nosedive into a soccer field. FML") * Montana looks around, trying to get his bearings. * Shiho looks very much awake and aware when Alysha doesn't answer her. "Boss? Miss Johnson?" * Nigel also notices that Alysha is missing. "Well that's just fucking brilliant, isn't it?" * Sonia stands up. "Hell of a crash. Sad I wasn't driving it." She tilts her head, attempting to hear for her prone body, or any others. * Montana sighs. "Fuck." * Gordo start to search the wreckage of the plane. "Fuck you too. It was like the damn controls were in sideways and that's not even physically possible." I'm thinkin' sabatoge. Anyway, gotta find the boss, yeah? Maybe check the wreckage? <@Brett> ( Gimme a search the wreckage roll, Gordo! ) * Shiho scrambles to her feet and swears. (Nothing on Sonar?) * Montana moves to help Gordo, since he's ahead of him. <@Brett> ( Nope ) (Uhm... straight soul as I don't think mechanics will help here.) (Unless Brett wants an awareness thing?) (It's not super clear.) <@Brett> ( Awareness is fine. ) 2d6+5 * Chibi_Vernon rolls 2d6+5 for Gordo and gets a natural 7 for a result of 12. * Nigel also starts looking around the wreckage. (Do you want me to roll, too?) <@Brett> ( Sure ) 2d6+6 * Chibi_Vernon rolls 2d6+6 for Montana and gets a natural 6 for a result of 12. Just my luck, first time shot down, and wasn't even from another plane. 2d6+5 * Chibi_Vernon rolls 2d6+5 for Nigel and gets a natural 9 for a result of 14. (That's mine. In case you want it.) <@Brett> [Gordo and Montana at the same time find a Nathan Spinel keychain in the wreckage.] <@Brett> [Nigel finds it too! * Shiho looks around for signs of anyone other than the group. * Montana pulls the keychain out and holds it up to see it better. "Looks like this is Alysha's, yeah?" * Gordo eyes the keychain. "T'aint mine." <@Brett> [There's no sign of anyone in the stadium.] * Nigel shakes his head and keeps looking around. "Miss Johnson!" He starts to walk away from the wreck to get a better look. * Montana keeps checking the wreckage for Alysha or signs of sabatoge. <@Brett> ( Montana, gimme a mechanic's roll. ) (Haha.) 2d6+4 * Chibi_Vernon rolls 2d6+4 for Montana and gets a natural 6 for a result of 10. (Bam!) (BAM) (Can I roll that as well?) <@Brett> ( Sure ) 2d6+7 * Chibi_Vernon rolls 2d6+7 for Gordo and gets a natural 4 for a result of 11. * Shiho takes deep, steady breaths as she walks around the area, looking for signs of enemies or her employer. Occasionally, she calls out, "Boss?" <@Brett> [It's too hard for Gordo or Montana to tell if there's been any sabotage.] * Sonia checks that her big metal luggage (aka The Dreamer) is around, before saying, "Need to put a bell on that girl," and going up on the bleachers, checking her phone to see where they are along the way. <@Brett> [Meanwhile, there's no sign of much of anything in the stadium.] And where the hell are all the people come to gawk at the crash? <@Brett> [Sonia's phone reports no service.] * Montana shakes his head. He calls to Sonia, "Find her yet?" * Sonia gets to the top of the bleachers so she can look out on the surrounding landscape. Let's see where the hell they are, and if there's any obvious Alysha-nappers. <@Brett> ( Gimme a sight roll Sonia ) 2d6+6 * Chibi_Vernon rolls 2d6+6 for Sonia and gets a natural 8 for a result of 14. <@Brett> [Sonia sees a typical European small town, which looks like any other town except the buildings are painted pink, green and yellow. She doesn't spot any Alysha-nappers though.] * Sonia shakes her head and replies, "No. Just a small town from last century. No phone." She easily skips down the bleachers, two at a time, back towards the group. * Shiho moves back towards the group, her expression somewhere between anger and fear. "The last guy I looked out for? All the time, he was dealing with South American general, wanna-be dictators, the kind of shits that used kids as soldiers. In my childhood, I spent time near the men in mob. I have never had anyone I've met in my life give me as much trouble as Alysha Johnson." What do we do next? * Montana nods. "'s a bit more than I was expectin', too. Should probably go back to my old line of work if we can't find her." He pinches the top of his nose, then starts looking for any signs of Alysha-napping. * Nigel shrugs and looks at Shiho. "We find her. I'm good at finding things." He starts to head out. "We could start by asking around that town." <@Brett> [There's no immediate signs.] * Gordo looks around. "Had a requisitions officer who's still in the running, but she's done a hell of a job catching up. Any of you have gear for seeing fresh tire tracks or the like? She can't have walked off." I can see infrared, but that ain't gonna help if Sonia can't spot nothin'. I have nothing, sorry. Going on the damn list. * Montana pats Gordo on the back. "Ain't usually in our line of work, yeah?" Let's do what Nigel says. Better plan than I've got. * Montana pockets the keys and heads off towards Village Town. (Hey, Brett given that I was navagating at the time, I should have a rough idea of what part of what country we just landed in, yeah?) * Shiho follows Montana and Nigel, still looking extremely disgruntled. <@Brett> ( Yep! ) (Good, where are we?) Next question, anybody fluenent in Serbian? 'Cause I give it 'bout 50/50 on which side of the boarder we landed on. Not a bit. * Montana shakes his head. * Nigel shakes his head. "Not one of my nine. Sorry." <@Brett> [You head into town. Much like I described when Sonia was looking at it, most of the buildings are colored funny European colors but otherwise unremarkable. The street's fairly wide, and many shops line the road across from the stadium. Some sell clothes, some seem to be food places... But it's hard to tell, it's all written in a language none of you understand.] * Sonia shrugs. "We'll figure it out." She carries her suitcase over her shoulder for the moment, after fishing out another pair of sunglasses. (Are there any people?) <@Brett> [There are no people! Though there are cars lining the street.] * Nigel approaches one of the shops. Lets say a clothing shop. <@Brett> [In fact there's not much by way of sound, either, aside from the wind. No sounds of people, no motors, no birds...] (My plan is to try English first, then Greek. Greece being the closest country to Serbia that has a language Nigel speaks. That is, if we find people.) <@Brett> [Clothing lines the window. Seems like fairly modern wear.] (One would think I'd notice that fairly quickly.) * Nigel enters the shop. Is anyone inside? <@Brett> [There's no one in there.] * Gordo follows Nigel in and mutters. "Where is everyone?" (Now that I think about it. You'd think if any people were here they would have come out to see their stadium demolished.) * Nigel shrugs and exits the shop. "Well that's odd." (I asked that ICly! :P) * Montana shrugs. He enters the next store and looks around. "Hello?" <@Brett> [No answer!] * Montana walks out. "Yeeeah, this is strange. Bright side: You could probably find some stuff to suppliment that list of yours, Gordo." * Nigel looks back at Gordo. "No idea, mate. It looks like the whole bloody town was abducted... Or left in a hurry." * Sonia just runs sonics to see if there's anyone around. "Get the feeling that someone's running a trick on us." * Shiho gives her gun a quick check to make sure it's in working order. Monty? The day I put "people" on the list of shit I'm requisitioning from Alysha, shoot me. * Montana snerks. "You got it." <@Brett> [Sonia's gun is a little banged up but seems functional. (s/Sonia/Shiho) <@Brett> ( Shiho. ) Want me to fire a shot, see if anyone startles out? Go for it. * Nigel continues to head through the town. "Sure." 2d6+6 <@Brett> ( Umms ) <@Brett> 2d6 * Chibi_Vernon rolls 2d6 for Brett and gets a natural 9 for a result of 9. <@Brett> ( >.> ) 2d6+6 * Chibi_Vernon rolls 2d6+6 for Sonia and gets a natural 9 for a result of 15. (i did it) * Shiho moves back to where she can see the edge of town and fires a shot away from the buildings. <@Brett> [The shot echos throughout the area, but nobody appears to check it out.] * Montana starts checking in buildings, looking for a calendar or something. * Sonia tilts her heads, nods, and then says, "Half a klick to the east." * Shiho holsters her pistol and rejoins the group. You got something? It's not nothing. * Montana pokes his head out of a building. "What ain't nothin'?" * Sonia swings her suitcase around to smash the window of a nearby car that could hold all of them. And that she thinks could quickly be hotwired. <@Brett> [Montana finds one. It's got a picture of a hot blond in a bikini, and shows the month of February. It's also got a word-of-the-day, which is збрка <@Brett> [Sonia breaks a window without much trouble.] * Sonia unlocks the doors from the inside and goes for the hotwire. "Everyone in." Yes ma'am. * Montana goes for shotgun, ha! * Nigel nods and gets in. <@Brett> ( Roll hotwiring. ) * Gordo gets behind Sonia, as he probably won't fit in the middle. * Shiho gets in the car wherever there's room. 2d6+9 * Chibi_Vernon rolls 2d6+9 for Sonia and gets a natural 3 for a result of 12. ( Specifically stealing a car that fits everyone, heh.) <@Brett> [Sonia attempts to hotwire the car. However, the engine continuously stalls.] * Sonia frowns and bites her lip as she tries to get the engine working. "I need to make my car bigger. Tired of limping around with shitty rides." <@Brett> [The car continues to stall as Sonia tries it. Very odd.] * Montana watches Sonia work. "I hear that." * Sonia throws up her hands and gets out of the car, picking up her luggage. "Fuck it, I'm going to run it." * Sonia looks over at Nigel. "I don't know much about magic, boy, but if this ain't it, it's a hell of an op." * Sonia then takes off running. Did she? She is? The hell? * Shiho gets out of the car and... watches Sonia run off. After a moment of surprise, she starts running after Sonia. * Montana gets out of the car, watches the women run off, looks to Gordo and Nigel, and shrugs. Hope you got your exercise in, gents. * Montana runs after them! * Nigel Runs too! * Gordo also gets out of the car. "Do I look like a man who's gotten all of his exercise? Bollocks." * Gordo jogs. <@Brett> [You follow Sonia towards the whateveritis she found. A few blocks later, she leads you to an alleyway where you come across.... a dead end. It's now around 4:15, and the sun's starting to go down.] * Montana looks around, not particularly out of breath. "Well?" he asks Sonia. * Sonia grits her teeth and runs her fingers along the walls. "There was a noise here. Not sure what it was." (Is the end of the alley scalable, or is it too high?) <@Brett> ( It's a brick wall. ) (Okay, but how high is it?) <@Brett> ( About 3 stories ) (Right.) * Montana looks up the wall. "Huh." And then he looks around, for something that may have caused said noise. * Gordo puffs for a bit. "Find a hotel, or see if the emergancy kit in the plane's burnt yet?" <@Brett> [It doesn't take much work, as two creatures suddenly fall from the surrounding buildings, landing in the alley behind you. They look humanoid enough, but their arms end in sickle-like blades and they have no facial features except their mouths, which are very wide and have three rows of very pointy teeth. One of them emits a shrieking sound.] <@Brett> ( Gimme init rolls :O ) 2d6+6 * Chibi_Vernon rolls 2d6+6 for Gordo and gets a natural 6 for a result of 12. 2d6+5 * Chibi_Vernon rolls 2d6+5 for Nigel and gets a natural 6 for a result of 11. 2d6+5 * Chibi_Vernon rolls 2d6+5 for Montana and gets a natural 9 for a result of 14. 2d6+11 * Chibi_Vernon rolls 2d6+11 for Shiho and gets a natural 6 for a result of 17. 2d6+5 * Chibi_Vernon rolls 2d6+5 for Sonia and gets a natural 9 for a result of 14. <@Brett> [Order: Shiho, Montana, Sonia, Creature1, Creature2, Gordo, Nigel] <@Brett> [Shiho!] * Shiho draws her sword and darts in at the first creature, thrusting her sword forward. 2d6+8 * Chibi_Vernon rolls 2d6+8 for Shiho and gets a natural 7 for a result of 15. <@Brett> [Shiho scores a line across its shoulder, drawing black blood.] <@Brett> [Montana] * Montana backs towards the alley wall as he uncoils his whip. "The fuck are these, Nigel!" he calls before he snaps it forward, trying to trip the second creature. 2d6+7 * Chibi_Vernon rolls 2d6+7 for Montana and gets a natural 6 for a result of 13. <@Brett> [Montana trips it, sending it to the ground. But the creature proves to be quite nimble, and rolls back to its feet quickly. <@Brett> [Meanwhile the other one strikes at Shiho.] 2d6+7 * Chibi_Vernon rolls 2d6+7 for Shiho and gets a natural 6 for a result of 13. * Nigel shakes his head in response to Montana. "Not a clue..." (btw, you skipped Sonia, I think?) <@Brett> ( Um... Oops ) <@Brett> [Shiho parries the attack without much difficulty.] <@Brett> [Sonia] (Punching time.) 2d6+6 * Chibi_Vernon rolls 2d6+6 for Sonia and gets a natural 9 for a result of 15. <@Brett> [Sonia's punch makes a solid thwack, sending the creature reeling.] <@Brett> [Gordo] * Sonia steps forward into the one trying to eat Shiho and shoves her fist into its 'gut', saying, "Nice teeth," before the thwack of a sonic detonation fires off. * Gordo draws his pistol and shoots the one that's reeling back. 2d6+6 * Chibi_Vernon rolls 2d6+6 for Gordo and gets a natural 8 for a result of 14. <@Brett> [Gordo's shot takes a good chunk out of its side. It shrieks.] <@Brett> [Oh, uh. Nigel!] <@Brett> ( My bad ) * Nigel draws his sword and makes for the creature that Montana is fighting and slashes at it. "It's not every day I get to fight things I've never seen before. I'd be fascinating, if you weren't trying to kill me." 2d6+6 * Chibi_Vernon rolls 2d6+6 for Nigel and gets a natural 7 for a result of 13. <@Brett> [Nigel cuts a deep wound in its shoulder.] <@Brett> [Shiho!] * Shiho slashes up at the creature nearest to her. "You can have a look at the corpses once we kill them, how's that?" 2d6+8 * Chibi_Vernon rolls 2d6+8 for Shiho and gets a natural 3 for a result of 11. <@Brett> [Shiho scores another cut to its side. It staggers a bit, but manages to stay up, screeching angrily.] <@Brett> [Montana] * Montana moves to one side, drawing his gun with his free hand and firing at the creature he tripped before (and Nigel is fighting). 2d6+7 * Chibi_Vernon rolls 2d6+7 for Montana and gets a natural 5 for a result of 12. <@Brett> [Montana shoots it in the side!. This one's also looking like it's about ready to fall.] <@Brett> [Sonia!] * Sonia draws her gun with her other hand and fires at the one team Not Brothers has been beating on. (Full attack.) 2d6+9 * Chibi_Vernon rolls 2d6+9 for Sonia and gets a natural 10 for a result of 19. <@Brett> [Sonia blasts it, and it nearly goes down, but stops itself from falling with one of its sickle hands. It uses the other to take a swing at Nigel.] <@Brett> [Meanwhile the first one strikes at Shiho again.] 2d6+6 * Chibi_Vernon rolls 2d6+6 for Nigel and gets a natural 6 for a result of 12. 2d6+7 * Chibi_Vernon rolls 2d6+7 for Shiho and gets a natural 7 for a result of 14. <@Brett> [Both of you manage to avoid getting hit.] <@Brett> [Gordo!] * Gordo attempts to doubletap the injured one. 2 2d6+6 * Chibi_Vernon rolls 2 2d6+6 for Gordo and gets a natural ( 10 7 ) for a result of ( 16 13 ). (The one that's attacking Nigel) <@Brett> [And Gordo shoots it twice, causing it to collapse.] <@Brett> [Nigel!] (There's one left now?) <@Brett> ( Yep, and it's almost down. ) * Nigel moves towards the one that is still up and swings his sword at it. 2d6+6 * Chibi_Vernon rolls 2d6+6 for Nigel and gets a natural 5 for a result of 11. <@Brett> [And down it goes.] * Nigel immediately begins to examine the creatures closer to see if he can figure out anything at all about where they came from. * Montana looks around for any other creatures, or signs of where they came from, or anything. * Gordo cautiously makes his way to the opening of the alley to see if there's any more of them coming. <@Brett> [Gordo spots nothing! He hears nothing, too. The town's gone dead again.] * Shiho keeps her sword out and looks down at one of the creature corpses. "So..." she says to Nigel. "No idea what these are?" No contacts. 2d6+9 * Chibi_Vernon rolls 2d6+9 for Nigel and gets a natural 4 for a result of 13. * Sonia shakes her hand idly and listens again. * Montana lets out a sigh and removes his hat, pulling his hood over his face. He activates the infrared and walks out of the alley, looking for heat signatures. 2d6+9 (hood, mask, you know what I mean.) (Dice is on strike.) 2d6+9 * Chibi_Vernon rolls 2d6+9 for Nigel and gets a natural 8 for a result of 17. * Nigel furrows his brow. "They aren't anything mystical or occult. They're genetically modified... but... way beyond what should be possible." That's not what I call encouraging news. * Montana sighs. "Yeeeah, so, town's fucking deserted, and I have no clue where to go from here." They were humans? * Nigel shrugs. "Presumably... at some point... It's hard to tell." * Sonia shakes her head. "Too many ways to wreck a life." * Nigel stands up. "They could have been anything, really..." * Shiho kneels down next to one of the corpses and stares at it. "I didn't even know you could DO that to people. That's sick." * Nigel shakes his head. "You can't... that is... you shouldn't be able to. We don't have that kind of technology." Shouldn't's a funny word. ... Any idea if it's reversable? * Nigel shrugs. "I'm not a biologist, mate." (Nigel: "Damnit, Gordo, I'm a historian, not a doctor.") Sorry, you're the go to for "I don't know what the hell just happened." * Montana jogs back into the alley and then straight up the back wall. Three stories up, he gets to the roof and looks around again. * Nigel nods. "Understood. But in this case, I can't help. What I can tell you, though, is that somebody did this... So when we find that somebody, we can ask. You know... before I shoot them with a crossbow bolt." <@Brett> [Montana sees... buildings.] <@Brett> [And...] <@Brett> [Darkness!] (Is that sudden darkness, or the fact that the sun's been setting the entire time?) <@Brett> [It's suddenly nighttime. And I mean suddenly, as in Montana sees the darkness dash across the twilight sky.] <@Brett> [The streetlights come on, though, so at least you're not totally blind.] <@Brett> [Though some of them seem to be flickering, if not dead.] (So is this a weird nighttime or is this an on time nighttime?) <@Brett> ( It's a nighttime that came too suddenly. ) * Gordo blinks at rubs at his eyes. "'M I going blind, insane, or does night just do that around here?" * Montana jogs down the building and pulls his mask off, putting the hat back on. "I'm thinkin' we should get inside." * Shiho turns her gaze up at the sky. "What." <@Brett> [As you head into the alleyway, you see a man down the street. He's running your way, and when he spots you, he starts shouting something.] * Montana calls back to him, "English?" * Nigel runs towards the man. "Do you speak English?" then in Greek "Do you speak Greek?" <@Brett> [A street light goes out in front of him, and he stops dead in his tracks before crossing into the darkness. He calls back again, foreign still, but you get that he sounds panicked.] <@Brett> [He shouts again as Nigel talks.] * Nigel runs faster towards the man to try to grab his hand and get him safely to the group. "Come on... Let's get inside." <@Brett> ( gimme hearing rolls ) * Shiho stands. "Sounds good to me." (Mind or body?) * Gordo keeps his gun out as he moves to catch up. 2d6+7 * Chibi_Vernon rolls 2d6+7 for Nigel and gets a natural 9 for a result of 16. The fuck did he even *come* from, I checked the infrared... 2d6+6 * Chibi_Vernon rolls 2d6+6 for Sonia and gets a natural 4 for a result of 10. 2d6+6 * Chibi_Vernon rolls 2d6+6 for Montana and gets a natural 5 for a result of 11. 2d6+5 * Chibi_Vernon rolls 2d6+5 for Gordo and gets a natural 7 for a result of 12. 2d6+7 * Chibi_Vernon rolls 2d6+7 for Shiho and gets a natural 8 for a result of 15. * Nigel yells something back in Greek. <@Brett> [As Nigel runs towards him, the streetlight over the man flickers. You hear him scream just before it goes out. It comes on after about 3 seconds, and he's gone, clothes and all.] * Nigel sighs and heads back towards the group quickly. "We need to get to shelter! Fast!" * Montana stares briefly. "Right." And he goes for the nearest building, whatever that may be. <@Brett> [Gordo, Nigel and Shiho all heard a quiet whispering noise as the lights went out. Too quiet to understand what it was saying, even if it was in a language they knew.] <@Brett> [It's an old bar!] (BOOZE!) * Montana goes in the bar, then! Goodness knows they could all use a drink! * Nigel also goes into the bar. * Gordo follows Montana. * Sonia follows Montana, and says lowly, to him, "Whatever this is, this ain't a good sign for our girl." <@Brett> [As you rush towards the bar, the lights start going out along the street. They go one by one from where the man was, as if something is taking them out as it rushes towards you.] * Montana shakes his head at Sonia and responds, just as lowly, "Gotta relocate." Once the last person gets in, he slams the door shut and jams it as best he can. * Nigel runs to the door and throws wards around it like crazy! * Shiho runs in and checks to make sure any other exits are secured. <@Brett> [The lights in the street go out, but the ones in the bar stay on, if dimly lit.] <@Brett> [There is a back door to the bar, but it seems locked.] Check the windows, guys. No nightvision. * Shiho checks the windows, as told to. Make sure they're *secure*, Gordo! * Gordo does that! * Sonia presses her hand to a window after Shiho checks it, sonaring through it. <@Brett> [The windows seem secure enough.] * Montana starts covering windows once he gets the chance, and if there aren't window treatments, he'll just find ways to make them. "Any idea what the fuck *that* was, Nigel?" * Nigel finds some cloth and breaks one of the chair legs to make a makeshift torch with and then waves his hand over the torch to light it. <@Brett> [The makeshift torch comes to light without trouble.] * Nigel shakes his head. "Something bad. The good news is... the man who just disappeared spoke Greek. So I can at least talk to these people if we ever find them." First bit of good news today. * Nigel sighs. "He said to tell his daughter he loves her. He didn't say anything else before he disappeared." He must have known what was coming, though. That's why he was so panicked. So, this's been going on for a bit? * Shiho pulls her hair tie out with a vicious tug and runs her hand through her hair before tying it up again. "This is so beyond me. This is like a horror movie. What the hell's going on here?" * Nigel nods. "That is my guess." * Montana covers the last window and leans against the wall. He pushes his hat up and rubs at his eyes. "Fuuuuuck, I did not sign up for this." We find her, I'm asking tripple rates for this load. * Sonia snorts. "This ain't even a load." * Nigel shrugs at Shiho. "I deal with witches, returned gods, cultists, monsters, faeries, you name it and I've never heard of some darkness that swallows people. If I didn't know any better... I'd say this wasn't even real." * Montana moves to the bar, checking out its alcohol selection. Some kind of nightmare? * Montana mutters as he looks over the bottles, "Whole things's a nightmare. Should've stuck to what I know." (thing's) <@Brett> ( Where would the fun be in that? ) Anything worth drinking back there? * Montana shrugs a bit and starts pulling from the top shelf, placing them on the counter so Gordo can see them. <@Brett> [The bottles seem to be mostly local fare tinges of golden or brown youdontknowwhatthehellitis's.] <@Brett> ( incidentally, I'm planning to end soon, so. ) (Kinda figured!) * Shiho stares out the window for a moment before turning to Nigel. "How do you end up seeing all that?" * Gordo puts his gun away and picks a bottle at random to pull the stopper from to at least try to identify what kind of alchohol he's dealing with. * Nigel shrugs. "Well there are relatively few profession options for a non-teaching historian who specializes in occult history. So I do relic reacquisition, mostly." <@Brett> [It's beer! Or possibly ale! Or maybe even rum! Or some mix. It's hard to tell.] <@Brett> ( Nigel, that's the story of my life right there >.> ) (Clearly you need to track down some cultists to bust up.) <@Brett> ( yez. Hey, I got the whole sword and crossbow thing down though. ) (But rum is completely different from beer which is also ale... XP) <@Brett> ( You're talking to a guy who doesn't drink :P ) (Teachnically Ale is beer. Beer is not necessarily Ale.) (Suppose you could let the drinkier people make it up, then?) (By which I mean, not me either.) <@Brett> ( K, go ahead :P ) <@Brett> ( It tastes like Serbian alcohol :D ) <@Brett> ( Anyhow, if no one else has anything to say... ) <@Brett> [I declare that this session hath ended.]
