<Brett> [And Billie, who's lead in the same direction as Raxa for a bit, before
they're parted, is sent to an area where the occupants are all Asian women.]
<Billie> (How many?)
<Brett> [Quite a lot, actually.]
<Billie> (So like a few dozen? Or more?)
<Brett> [Billie's lead to a cell, where there's another Asian girl who couldn't
be much older than 16. She looks up timidly as one guard opens the cell. He
turns to Billie and says, "In."]
<Brett> ( A few dozen. In this block, anyhow. )
* Billie steps in obediently and looks back at the guard.
<Billie> (What sort of cell is it?)
<Brett> [Billie's cell is different from Josh and Logan's. There's two beds
instead of bunks, on opposite sides of the room (Billie has the left,
apparently). The sink and toilet are in the middle. There's no desk or chair, or
mirror.]
<Brett> [There's also a pamphlet on her pillow.]
<Brett> [The guard closes the door, mumbles, "Dinner in fifteen," and heads off,
leaving Billie alone with the girl, who stares fixedly at Billie, clutching a
teddy bear to her chest.]
* Billie looks back at the girl, then at her bed. She sits down and picks up the
pamphlet, opening it and looking half-interestedly. "
<Billie> Hey.
<Brett> [She blinks. "You're Korean too?"]
<Brett> ( Pamphlet reading will be done in the main channel! )
* Billie smiles a little. "Japanese... well, half, really. How'd you end up in
here?"
<Brett> [She draws back a little, unanswering.]
<Billie> Okay.  Sorry I asked.
* Billie goes back to reading the pamphlet.
* Billie frowns as she reads, then looks at the other girl. "My name is Billie,"
she says. "What's yours?"
<Brett> ["Sun." She pauses a bit, then asks, "Are you going to hurt me?"]
* Billie blinks.
<Billie> Why would I do that?
<Brett> ["They put all Asians in the same wing in here, but outside the Japanese
are higher class citizens.  They treat the rest of us bad."]
<Billie> Oh... no.  I'm not going to hurt you.
* Billie smiles. "I'd rather be friends, if that's okay. We're probably going to
be stuck together for a long time."
<Brett> [She starts crying. "I want to go home!" Good job Billie!]
<Billie> Oh... Oh, geez.  Sun...
* Billie gets up and moves over to sit on the other bed, giving the teenager a
gentle half-hug around the shoulders. She may get punched in the face!
<Brett> [She doesn't! Woot!]
* Billie just hugs, then!
<Brett> [Suddenly there's a loud buzzing, then the cell door opens!]
* Billie looks up at that. "Dinner," she tells Sun, and she gets up.
* Billie holds a hand out to help Sun up, too.
<Brett> [Sun wipes her eyes and gets to her feet.]
* Billie rubs Sun on her shoulder. "I'm sorry. Come on." And she heads towards
what's probably the cafeteria, picking up her pamphlet on the way.
<Brett> [Sun follows, bringing the bear.]
<Billie> What's the bear's name?
<Brett> ["Cody."]
<Brett> [You meet up with Logan and Josh!]
