[Nazi Earth, Day 12] [You're in a big round metal room with two catwalks and a big metal pillar covered with electronics in the middle. There's all sorts of things like lab equipment and crates off to the sides, and the upper center of the pillar is surrounded by a glass room, in which there are a bald headed doctor/warden named Geralt Rouen and an old, naked guy who's probably the deva. He's hooked up to a bunch of machines hooked up to the pillar probably hooked up to some other stuff somewhere.] (That's a lot of hooking.) [There's also two bipedal bots with gatling guns, two machine-gun turrets on the underside of the glass room, and 19 guards. 5 of them are on the right, right next to Josh and Raxa. 10 are on the left, next to Chess, who's invisible. Then in the back there's one sniper on the catwalk and two guys with RPGs below it.] [That's probably all you need to know, so...] [Session Start] [And Chess's turn.] * Chess , now that the guards she's near are hopefully distracted by the idea of an invisible enemy, starts running up to the nearest entrance to the glass room. (Hold action, I guess unless I have to actually push past people on this turn.) [Chess runs into a problem: Yoshiko turned that part of the catwalk into money last session.] (Ka-CHING!) (The other side, then.) [Chess heads to the other side of the room, putting her near Raxa and Josh. Getting up the catwalk and to the glass room will take another turn, though.] [Yoshiko, who's flying around somewhere in the middle of the room.] (Let's blow up some more mooks!) (And I didn't turn it to change. Yuki did.) (Hey Brett, there a good spot for me to blow up a ton of dudes?) ( There's 10 guys to the left if Yoshiko's willing to risk hitting Chess. ) (Doesn't Yoshiko have IFF on her big AoEs?) (Yes I do.) (Going to Shatter Spark the group of them. That'll probably take all of them out, and it's IFF.) ( Go for it ) 10 2d6+11 * Dicesuke throws the bones for Yoshiko (10 2d6+11) and gets a natural 8 for a result of 18 19 17 21 19 18 16 14 18 19. ( Ahhhh.... ) * Yoshiko stops for a moment, drawing a card from her outfit as she mutters an incantation. After a couple seconds she puts her hands forward, a brightly glowing crystal in the middle of it. "[Prism Sign] Shatter SPARK!" Upon finishing the spell, the prism shatters and careens torwards the mooks in a multi-colored light-show centered around a giant light-based blast, streaking all over and scouring the ground nearby as well. (Brett, I have special movement - fast in M-form. Does that get me there any faster, or did you keep that in mind already?) [They're pretty much turned to cinders, except for one guy, the one Chess wounded. He looks around himself in bewilderment.] [Raxa] 2d6+8 * Dicesuke throws the bones for Billie (2d6+8) and gets a natural 7 for a result of 15. [Ok, seeing as Chess has fast, which I totally forgot, she manages to get up the stairs and over to the room quickly. However, she finds her path barred by a heavy metal door with an electronic lock.] (Okay, I have 3 attacks. I'll put a feather throw on the remaining sniper to start.) 2d6+9 * Dicesuke throws the bones for Raxa (2d6+9) and gets 11, a CRITICAL SUCCESS!!! "That was close. One cycle later and you'd have fit nicely into a sandwich." (Eff.) (That's not good!) (If he survives that, as he likely will, I'll do it again.) ~Hey guys, can someone take care of this door? I'm right in front of the one that goes into the safety room or whatever it is.~ [No, it's not. Apparently the sniper was expecting that, because he gets out of the way!] 2d6+9 * Dicesuke throws the bones for Raxa (2d6+9) and gets a natural 9 for a result of 18. (Dodge that, buddy!) (He wasn't expecting the second one!) (Get shredded.) [And then he gets perforated by the second volley.] (And I'll end one of the guys with an RPG.) 2d6+9 * Dicesuke throws the bones for Raxa (2d6+9) and gets a natural 10 for a result of 19. [Yah he's dead.] [The bots! They keep their same targets, one on Josh, one on Yoshiko, firing god knows how many rounds from their gatling guns.]] * Raxa moves her arms even more rapidly under Josh's encouragement, throwing out multiple deadly arcs of feathers! She grins over at Josh, bird-like, and says, "You make even my feathers flutter faster, mmm?" 2d6+11 * Dicesuke throws the bones for Yoshiko (2d6+11) and gets a natural 4 for a result of 15. (I forget were these the one that couldn't scratch me or the ones that actual kinda hurt?) (These couldn't scratch you. The turrets are the ones that hurt like a truck.) ( They do scratch a bit :P ) * Josh ignores the shots. "Aye, I make everything better." ( They do damage Josh ) ( They do very little damage, but it is damage. ) ( Unless you're choosing to not defend? ) (tryin to math) 2d6+1 * Dicesuke throws the bones for Josh (2d6+1) and gets a natural 7 for a result of 8. ( You can choose to not defend an attack to save your defense rolls for something else if you want. ) (I was out of defences AGES ago) (They should have refreshed, dude.) (At begining of the round or at my turn?) [Josh is shot numerous times, riddling his body with more tiny dents. Yoshiko is shot just once, in the leg. Unfortunately for her, it's a high calibur bullet that leaves a pretty big wound.] ( Or maybe not ) ( I forgot her force field ) (Force field!) (It also does damage back to him. :P) [So instead of being a big gaping hole in her leg, it's a small gaping hole in her leg. The backlash doesn't seem to do anything, being stopped by the bot's heavy armor.] ( Oh, while I'm thinking of it ) ( The turrets get no defense roll, but they have a TN: 8 to hit ) (Good to know!) ( Doubt it'll even be a problem for you, but there you have it :P ) (How close are they together?) ( The bots or turrets? ) (Cool, I literaly can't miss!) ( Well either way not very close ) (The turrets. I'm just calculating if I can hit them both with the same AE) ( The bots are on opposite ends of the room, the turrets are on opposite ends of the underside of the glass room.] ) * Yoshiko gets clipped by a shot and spins, leveling herself out from the attack. "Hey, they hit me. THEY HIT ME!" [Josh!] ( I guess they're maybe 25 ft apart. ) * Josh raises his cannon arm and takes a potshot at the turret that hit last round. 2d6+9 * Dicesuke throws the bones for Josh (2d6+9) and gets a natural 11 for a result of 20. (That's 39 damage, ignoring 32 points of FF) ( Just FF? Is there no armor penetration in 3e? ) (There is, but I put it on the sword) ( Oh ) (Which I'm going to stab the bot with if this takes out the turret) [A big cannonball hits the turret on the.... left, we'll say, but the thing is fairly well armored, and the cannonball causes only minor damage.] (How high up are they?) ( Ohhh... 20 feet I guess. ) ( Maybe 15 ) d6 * Dicesuke throws the bones for Brett (d6) and gets a natural 6 for a result of 6. ( 20 feet. ) (Right, I'm 12 feet tall I can totally hit that with a sword.) ( Can you? Hmmm.... ) (White pirates can jump!) ( I'll say you can before I get distracted by trying to actually do the math for that ) (Rule of cool wins!) * Josh rolls his eye. "Fer Blind Pete's sake!" He runs over and stabs up at the thing with his sword. ( Bah. Too late. It's on my mind now. ) 2d6+8 * Dicesuke throws the bones for Josh (2d6+8) and gets a natural 4 for a result of 12. ( Now how much damage does that do? :P ) (43 damge 16 penitrating because armor pen only does half of what FF does.) ( Sec, mathing ) [Josh damages the turret. Between that and the cannonball, it's pretty heavily damaged now, but still functional.] (This is going to suck to be me) [Guards] ( Hmm. ) ( Hokay, only 6 guards left ) ( nope, 7 ) ( 6 with assault rifles ) (Yeah, I'm trying to trim them down to keep you from rolling so much. :P) (She's thoughtful.) [One of them, the last remaining guy on the left, throws down his gun and surrendurs] [The other five... don't.] (Smart move.) (Not so smart move.) 5 d2 * Dicesuke throws the bones for Brett (5 d2) and gets a natural 1 for a result of 1 2 1 1 1. ( 4 fire at Yoshiko, one at Raxa! ) (Wh-wh-what?!) ( Don't look at me :o ) (*glares* How many beat a, uh... 13?) (At least they're all under irritant!) (Because I'm still the shiniest.) 5 2d6+4 * Dicesuke throws the bones for Brett (5 2d6+4) and gets a natural 9 for a result of 6 14 9 8 13. ( One! :P ) ( The 14 is Raxa's though ) (:|) 2d6+9 * Dicesuke throws the bones for Raxa (2d6+9) and gets a natural 6 for a result of 15. (GOT THERE) [Raxa does not get shot.] [Yuki] (I'm gonna lightning bolt, uh... Are any of them injured?) 2d6+8 * Dicesuke throws the bones for Yoshiko (2d6+8) and gets a natural 6 for a result of 14. ( Oh crap, I forgot the rocket launcher guy ) (Oh, lightning bolt him then!) (It's untracable. :D) ( He gets to go first :P ) (Aww. :( ) ( And he's probably firing at Yoshiko, because she's the only one not near the other guards. ) [And he does!] (Need a defense roll?) 2d6+11 * Dicesuke throws the bones for Yoshiko (2d6+11) and gets a natural 6 for a result of 17. ( Pretty much always need a defense roll in this game :P ) [Yoshiko easily dodges the rocket, which explodes behind her.] (Unless they can't hit the base defense numbers!) [Now Yuki ] ( Meh, I'm not keeping track :P ) 2d6+8 * Dicesuke throws the bones for Yoshiko (2d6+8) and gets a natural 4 for a result of 12. (12 to hit the rocketlauncher guy with a lightning bolt. Undetectable) [Somehow he's able to detect the bolt coming, getting out of the way before it strikes.] * Yuki flies around overhead. Suddenly a jolt of electry sparks in the air above the rocket launcher guy... (... Doesn't undetectable mean he... can't do that? @_@) ( Does it? I thought it meant he couldn't tell where it came from. ) (If the target knows they're being attacked they get a -3, if they don't know they're being attacked they don't get a deff roll) (Yeah. It's a penalty if they know to dodge. If they don't know to dodge, there's no defense roll.) ( K, nevermind on that ) [So he does get zapped after all. And I lost Yuki's combat sheet. How much does it do?] (Only 15 damage.) [He gets zapped but he's still on his feet!] (Yuki is not a damage person.) [The turrets swivel to Josh, opening fire.] 2 2d6+7 * Dicesuke throws the bones for Josh (2 2d6+7) and gets a natural 7 for a result of 11 14. [Josh is riddled full of holes! It's a good thing he's not an organic being right now, or he'd be bleeding out. As it is, he's barely managing to hold together.] [Chess!] * Josh falls to his knees and bellows. (Is there glass wall within my reach?) [There is!] 2d6+6 * Dicesuke throws the bones for Billie (2d6+6) and gets a natural 8 for a result of 14. * Chess takes a few steps back, then hurls herself at the glass wall and slashes out at it. (Leap Attack, and Claws have Piercingx3 in case there's a force field up around it that no one noticed.) 2d6+8 * Dicesuke throws the bones for Chess (2d6+8) and gets a natural 11 for a result of 19. (Sorry, +9, I keep messing up. Result is 20.) [Chess hits the wall easily enough, only to discover it's not really glass, but some sort of heavy plastic. She's able to scratch it but doesn't really get much penetration.] ~Josh! If I come help you, can you get this damn door?~ [Oh, um, Yoshiko.] * Josh thinks back. ~Aye, but I haven't another one of those bloody turret shots in me.~ ~Okay, I'll be down in a sec!~ ( brb ) ( Back ) * Yoshiko holds a card out and spins it, holding it still after a few seconds and whispers. "[Luck Sign] Comedy of Errors." [Ricky Gervais appears and does a skit. Raxa!] (How many enemy targets are there within 100 meters of me?) ( Kidding :P ) (Hahaha.) (I think that hits pretty much the whole room after I move to get the turrets in range?) ( Yah, easily. ) (Okay, uh...) 10 2d6+9 * Dicesuke throws the bones for Yoshiko (10 2d6+9) and gets a natural 4 for a result of 15 20 13 14 14 20 19 13 15 13. ( Araaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa ) (For each person hit, they need a TN 12 (-1) Body for flare, TN 12 (-1) Body for irritant, TN 9 (-1) body for Incapacitating, and they get hit with a 5 HP tangle effect.) ( I hate you so much for making this ability. ) (Jesus, and I thought I was bad.) ( AFK while I get a coke. And a calculator. ) (Dice! Glorious dice!) (I can change it after the session, if you want.) (I suggest you just use Dicey. ^^;) ( Well, the turrets are probably immune to irritant and incapacitating. Same with the bots. ) ( And tangle... not goingto matter for the turrets, really. ) (It imposes a -3 penalty.) (To attack.) (Does it have the toxic defect?) (Nope.) (If not, then they're not immune: the magical effect of luck just works.) (It's 'luck'. Things short out, they break down, etc.) (Something jams.) ( Unless they have special defense :P ) (No, toxic is what makes things able to be special defensed.) (That's the actual description for the level 1 of the defect. ^^;) ( Oi.... let me look it up. ) (Even if they have Special Defense Irritant/etc, that only gives them a bonus to the roll.) ( So it is. Back to the calculator ) ( Work on a discription while I figure this out ) * Yoshiko finishes her spell and guns start to jam, electronics start to short out, and guards start to trip as suddenly it seems nothing is going the way of the Nazis. [That's an understatement. One guy collapses, everything else gets messed up.] [Raxa] [He was the one who surrendured :P ] (Convenient.) * Raxa takes advantage of the chaos to jump-fly up after Chess and land next to the door. "This one's not made of metal, can you just break it too?" (3 attack actions to pick an electronic lock rarrrr.) (Oh, I didn't make my other attack... Oh well.) 2d6+8 * Dicesuke throws the bones for Raxa (2d6+8) and gets a natural 5 for a result of 13. 2d6+8 * Dicesuke throws the bones for Raxa (2d6+8) and gets a natural 7 for a result of 15. 2d6+8 * Dicesuke throws the bones for Raxa (2d6+8) and gets a natural 8 for a result of 16. (Have some Electronics (Security) rolls!) [Raxa picks the lock! But it's one of those annoying doors that doesn't open right away!] [Bots!] [The bots attack Josh and Yoshiko, apparently dead set on killing them.] 2d6+11 * Dicesuke throws the bones for Yoshiko (2d6+11) and gets a natural 11 for a result of 22. * Raxa grins down at the Jaguar. "Got it, revered one." She waves her feathers at Josh. "All open here!" [Yoshiko easily dodges the hail of bullets (and next time I should give them two attack rolls. I mean they have two gatling guns :P) (Hah.) [Josh gets more sturdy somehow and the bullets ping off him without leaving so mcuh as dents.] (Dual-wield. If they decide to fire both they suffer accuracy penalties.) * Josh uses hardern, it's super effective! ( Yah, I gave them one because I thought I'd go easy on you guys. ) (This is still damn hard. Those turrets HURT. And I don't know how many of us have AP attacks.) ( Nobody's died yet. ) ( And Yoshiko pretty much disabled all the guards. ) (I'm not dead because I'm burning DP to be not dead.) ( Next time I have a major battle I'll remember to make it much harder. ) (Woot! Did I do anything to the turrets and the bots?) [Josh's turn] ( Maybe! ) * Josh stabs the turret above him again. "DIE!" 2d6+8 * Dicesuke throws the bones for Josh (2d6+8) and gets a natural 9 for a result of 17. [Given that it's not alive, it can't really die. Josh does manage to cut the barrel off from the rest of the device, though.] (How big is the door the others are trying to get through?) [Guards! They're suffering from god knows what and fire in random directions. They don't hit a damn thing.] [Yuki.] (Hey! I've got two attacks!) ( About 8 ft. ) (Josh has another action.) (And does it look like the catwalks can support me?) ( It might. ) * Josh storms across to the undamaged side of the room fires his cannon at the remaining turret. "I be up thare in a wee bit." 2d6+9 * Dicesuke throws the bones for Josh (2d6+9) and gets a natural 9 for a result of 18. (And does a little damage.) [Josh hits the turret easily, but again causes little damage.] (Now I'm done) [Yuki] * Yuki does her lightning thing to try and finish off the rocket launcher guy. 2d6+8 * Dicesuke throws the bones for Yoshiko (2d6+8) and gets a natural 9 for a result of 17. [And hits, but amazingly he's still up.] [Turret! It shoots at Josh!] 2d6+5 * Dicesuke throws the bones for Josh (2d6+5) and gets 7, a CRITICAL SUCCESS!!! "I love you. Do you love me too? Y_ N_" (I love you too dicy) ( Ew ) (Have fun guys, I think I just died) (Brett, can I give him a re-roll?) (It's okay, you'll get better.) ( Mmmmmm ) (I mean, luck IS my domain.) d2+1 * Dicesuke throws the bones for Brett (d2+1) and gets a natural 2 for a result of 3. ( For 3 DP ) (Okay.) (Take a re-roll Josh.) 2d6+5 * Dicesuke throws the bones for Josh (2d6+5) and gets a natural 7 for a result of 12. (That might be survivable!) [By some lucky miracle, the gun fires erratically, and Josh is only hit by one bullet, which barely penetrates his badly-damaged-but-newly-hardened hide.] [Chess!] [The door hasn't opened yet. It's making mechanical opening noises.] ~Open open open -fucking open-!~ (Hold action until I can squeeze through.) [No effect!] [Yoshiko] 2d6+8 * Dicesuke throws the bones for Billie (2d6+8) and gets a natural 6 for a result of 14. ~Josh, don't die, okay? And if you do die, you just end up in some hospital looking area of HQ, it's not a big deal!~ ~ If I be checking inta Davy Jone's you best get that sorry excuse for a lubber free without me. ~ * Yoshiko darts through the air around the turret, firing two globs of arcane fire at the thing in hopes that the mystical burningness can eat through that armor the turrets have. 2 2d6+9 * Dicesuke throws the bones for Yoshiko (2 2d6+9) and gets a natural 11 for a result of 16 20. (Fortunately, if the initial damage penetrates, the burning damage ignores armor.) ~I will, promise! Even if I have to kill him to send him back to his god! That's an option, isn't it?~ [Yoshiko's fire does being to melt the turret.] [Sloooooooowly] [Raxa] (I'm gonna keep stacking it on. That's two attacks... maybe 4 more will do it?) ( Oh, sorry. ) ~ Last resort. ~ [Well, it's still melting slowly :P] ( They can't defend, so of course they're going to be sturdy :P ) (I guess I try to autofire the turrets to death from up here.) (With feathers!) ( You can't. They're below the glass room. ) (Ah. I guess that leaves me with the bots, huh.) ( Or the 6 guys ) (That are completely incapacitated?) ( For now they are ) (Yeah. The attack fires off every other round too. But I understand if you don't want to roll that mess AGAIN.) (I'll just focus fire a bot until it's dead.) ( Yeah. ) 2d6+9 * Dicesuke throws the bones for Raxa (2d6+9) and gets a natural 10 for a result of 19. (And then move to the next one!) (Once that one's dead.) 2d6+9 * Dicesuke throws the bones for Raxa (2d6+9) and gets a natural 10 for a result of 19. 2d6+9 * Dicesuke throws the bones for Raxa (2d6+9) and gets a natural 11 for a result of 20. [That's going to take a while. Though Raxa pelts a bot with feathers, most bounce off harmlessly. Only two get any penetration, and it seems incredibly minimal.] (Geeze, how much armor do these things have?) ( 30 ) (... Shit man. No wonder we're still not done with combat.) (Yeah, that's pretty much awful for me.) (One day the door will open, though! Next.) [The bots attack! Josh and Yoshiko, of course.] (Same here, I scaled back my attack damage so I wouldn't force Brett to do that, but... I guess I was wrong.) 2d6+3 * Dicesuke throws the bones for Josh (2d6+3) and gets a natural 8 for a result of 11. 2d6+11 * Dicesuke throws the bones for Yoshiko (2d6+11) and gets a natural 4 for a result of 15. ( Yoshiko kinda wiped out all the guards. I really don't think you've got reason to complain :P ) (We're missing our best single target attacker, sadly.) (True.) (Armor penitration is still expensive) [Yoshiko avoids without problem, and Josh is still hardened and takes no damage.] [And then suddenly Josh isn't hardened anymore. His turn.] * Josh tries to climb up out of the turrets line of fire! ( How fast is Josh? ) (Large doesn't give any speed modifiers) (It should.) ( Ehhhh ) ( Gimme a body roll TN 12 ) 2d6+7 * Dicesuke throws the bones for Josh (2d6+7) and gets a natural 7 for a result of 14. [Josh is able to get up the stairs before the turret can fire another volley.] [The guards! Are useless again.] [Yuki] * Yuki tries to finish off the rocket launcher guard! 2d6+8 * Dicesuke throws the bones for Yoshiko (2d6+8) and gets a natural 6 for a result of 14. [And does!] (Yaaaaaaaaaaaay) [The turret, unable to locate Josh, turns towards the only one in visible range: Yoshiko.] 2d6+11 * Dicesuke throws the bones for Yoshiko (2d6+11) and gets a natural 3 for a result of 14. (DR) 2d6+11 * Dicesuke throws the bones for Yoshiko (2d6+11) and gets a natural 5 for a result of 16. (Meh.) [Yoshiko is able to avoid getting shot.] [The door finally opens, revealing the bald doctor, who apparently lost his snarky look. Instead he puts a gun to his head, screams "Long live the regime!" and pulls the trigger.] (Taking action.) ( Go ahead. ) * Chess shifts back to her human form as soon as she's inside the room. "Oh, like I give a fuck," she mutters. She steps over the dead body if it's in the way and starts unplugging the guy from any wires that don't actually go -in- to his body. [He groans in pain.] Mr. Deva, if you can hear me, we were sent by Zomegar to come help out. Raxa, if anyone starts heading this way, you might want to lock us inside. [Yoshiko.] ( Josh is heading that way ) (I -guess- Josh is okay.) (It's a tough call.) ( ;_x) * Yoshiko flies over the balcony and lands, so the turret can't target her either. "Hurry up, we gotta get him out of here." * Yoshiko fires a couple parting napalm shots at the turret before she does, though. No sense not letting it BUUUUUUUUUURN. 2 2d6+9 * Dicesuke throws the bones for Yoshiko (2 2d6+9) and gets a natural 7 for a result of 15 16. [He's wired in something good. It doesn't look like it'll be easy to get him out.] [Yoshiko continues to melt the turret.] [Raxa] (Bots! Kill 'em!) (Okay, well, I'm going to turn the entire lower area into an electrical storm, since nobody's down there. That should hit the turrets too.) (Blood and Thunder M.) ( There's guards down there! ) ( Including one who surrendured! ) (I'll blow them up too!) (Didn't he already die once?) (He fell over.) (No, that's the rocket launcher dewd.) (ANYWAY.) (AFK a sec) (-Are- there any wires going directly into dude's body, btw?) 10 2d6+9 * Dicesuke throws the bones for Raxa (10 2d6+9) and gets a natural 3 for a result of 15 13 18 13 13 11 17 18 14 12. ( Yep. Lots ) (Zap zap zap. The attack will repeat on its own next round.) ( Half his body is hidden inside the pillar ) [Raxa kills all the dudes and minorly inconveniences the bots. And breaks the turret.] [The bots then open fire! Josh and Yoshiko, again] (I'll drain those Bots' EP like whoa!) (Wee-oo-wee-oo-boop.) 2d6+7 * Dicesuke throws the bones for Josh (2d6+7) and gets a natural 9 for a result of 16. * Raxa says, "Enough of you, machines," balls her feathered hands, claws digging into her palms, and then with a flick of blood she screeches, "Huracan!" as she looses a storm of lightning upon the area below which doesn't stop after she lets it loose. 2d6+11 * Dicesuke throws the bones for Yoshiko (2d6+11) and gets a natural 5 for a result of 16. [Josh manages to avoid being shot. Lucky for him.] [As does Yoshiko.] [Josh's turn] (Hey, I do 51 damage per round with that sucker!) * Josh shoots one of the bots. Twice. (That will eventually get those bots down!) 2 2d6+9 * Dicesuke throws the bones for Josh (2 2d6+9) and gets a natural 5 for a result of 16 14. [At this point, I'm just going to say the bots stop working due to syntax errors.] (It's speak like a pirate day and they can't parse my awesome? :P) (Yay syntax errors!) ( Monday was Speak Like a Gold Rush Prospector Day. Srsly. ) * Chess yells so hopefully everyone can hear her. "Guys, I think I'm going to have to just kill him. Speak now or forever hold your bitching if you disagree!" (Seems pretty repetitive.) ( But no, really it's just I want to go to bed. ) ( Question is, do you guys reember what you came here for in the first place? :P ) (The list of the Sinseal locations.) (Set him free, get him to let us talk to his boss about the macguffins!) (That!) (I don't think I -can- set him free other than killing him, he's hooked into the pillar.) (Take the pillar with us!) ( Hah. ) * Josh stays in his met form. "Can't get 'em lose?" * Chess looks at the wires dubiously. "I can try, I guess..." * Chess starts messing with the wires. [He groans in more pain.] (Are the machines making any scary noises?) * Raxa heads into the room as well, to give it an electrical priestess' eye, her body shimmering as it goes back into her normal form, complete with piercings and her loose outfit. (I MAKE A ROLL AT IT XD) ( They're humming, but not any tune you recognize. ) 2d6+7 * Dicesuke throws the bones for Raxa (2d6+7) and gets a natural 5 for a result of 12. (Just to check Brett, if I've taken more damage in met form than I have HP in human form, I die when I switch back y/n?) (YEAH DICE WOO.) ( Yep ) (<- walking dead man!) * Yoshiko lands and walks in, transforming back to her normal self. She doesn't fall over, but looks like she's about to as she steadies herself against something steadying. "What, what is this thing?" * Syzix has joined #MCDC * Syzix is now known as Yuki * Yuki lands and transforms back. "Looks like some sort of wacky pillar with a guy stuck in it." ... So jus steal the whole damn pillar and be done with it. * Yoshiko looks at the pillar. "Can you carry that out of here?" ( lol no ) (Not even with mform plot teleports?) (Any luck on figuring out how to actually detach the guy effectively, Brett?) * Raxa tilts her head, then says, "We don't need the pillar. Just the man." ( Nope. You can't transfer most object with you. ) ( He's probably not coming out of there alive unless one of you is a really good surgeon. ) ( On the other hand, if you kill him, there's no knowing if/when you'll see him again. ) (Our surgeon? Also on another planet!) (Can Raxa pour heals into him as we disconect?) (Yeah, that's what I was thinking.) I'm a say no because I've done enough math for one day (Then call it, I think you're getting tired.) ( I'd hoped to finish this world up tonight ) * Raxa shakes her head. "I am not good enough with medicine to cut him free from this. It is truly a wonder how he was put there at all." (I wonder if I could DP him out of it.) * Josh tromps over and eyes the door, trying to figure out if he can fit through it. (Blood/Body stuff is my forte.) (That's true, you do have blood as your power. You could probably hold him together long enough at least for your healing to patch him up.) (I've got one DP to spend on getting the metal out of him!) (Two DP on luck to make sure you don't cut something essential!) (I've got... I really chose Cats because it sounded fun, I'm still not sure what to use my DP on in general. :P) (Ha ha.) (CATS.) (DP CATS) (Summon warrior cats at instant speed.) (You can DP cats into existance! Turn people into furries!) (You should have an attack where you just throw cats at people.) (So whaddya think about that, Brett?) ( If you all want to spend that much DP, then ok. ) (It's okay, we're heading out after this anyways.) ( :P ) (You didn't give me a DP cost for mine, but yeah.) * Raxa puts her hands to him and lets out a breath. "Let us hope that divinity is enough." (Dude, I'm going to die in under a minute, burning my DP for everything it's worth!) * Yoshiko crosses her fingers and sits down. * Josh nods. ( Uh. Your DP doesn't come back when you revive ) * Raxa digs her fingers into the man slightly and slowly... _pulls_ on him, trying to extract his physical self from the pillar it is in, and to hold it together as she does. ( K, DP for Raxa... Mmmmm.... ) ( 3 I guess. ) (Deal.) ( I'm assuming Yoshiko is spending 2 on luck ) ( and Josh is spending 1 on metal? ) (Yep) [The guy screams as he's pulled off the machine, but you manage to keep him alive through the ordeal.] (Yes.) * Raxa exhales as he's free, and says, with a wan smile, "My apologies... but death was the alternative." ( Now what? :o ) (Healins!) (Heal, get the information, then get out.) (Yes, some healing would be best.) (Unless you want to end it now and we can talk to him next week.) [WRONG! Now is end of session]
