[Mary Anne is in her room! Or rather, the room she and Millie are to be sharing tonight. Two sleeping mats and pillows have been laid out on either side of a table with a candle. There's a closed sliding-door to the outside and one to the hall. Otherwise, the room is pretty bare.] * MaryAnne takes position on her mat and sleeps while the sleepings good. * Kazue walks softly from outside, quietly tearing through the ricepaper window. She steps in and smiles, patting Mary Anne on the cheek. * MaryAnne opens one eye at the cheek that is poked and looks at the poker. * MaryAnne comments quitely "I say, it's rather improper to be sneaking into one's room, Miss Kazue." * MaryAnne sits up and looks at Kazue. * MaryAnne smiles and says quitely "Well, since you are already in, how may I help you?" * Kazue grins. "Yeah, I guess it is. Proper isn't something I do well." She grabs Mary Anne by the arm and yanks her to her feet with surprising strength, even as her face begins to change, her nose and mouth becoming more beaklike, her hair and skin spouting feathers. "How about helping me by holding still." * MaryAnne calls out "Oh my goodness gracious!" * Kazue throws her head back and laughs, her body now completely changed into an odd, dark cross between bird and woman. "Time to go!" She jumps up, flapping her wings twice, and digs her talons into Mary Anne's shoulders and arms. * MaryAnne yells "Let me go you terrible terrible bad thing you!"
