Powers: Can fade in and out, has an abnormally large grin, and sometimes shows up as a purple cat. Seems to have excellent night vision and overly light-sensitive eyes.

Appearance: Sally has black hair so dark it is probably dyed - though it's hard to tell. Her eyebrows occasionally look purple in the right light. She almost always wears a pair of very dark sunglasses which hide her golden-yellow irises and vertical-slit pupils. She prefers to wear dark colors, especially blacks and purples. Usually seeming amused by everything in an aloof way, she nevertheless seems quite at home talking to and teasing anyone and everyone.

History: Born and raised in Chicago, it was clear from birth that both Sally and her (older) twin brother, Paul Calvin Manners, were mutants, given their identical, cat-like eyes. She's grown up among people who know she's a mutant, and doesn't seem bothered by it; however, she does wear her sunglasses amongst strangers, if only to avoid freaking people out. She came to the Insitute just recently, here for her junior year. It seems her powers have begun to frighten some people, so it was best to get her out of Chicago and preferably somewhere she could be taught some restraint.
